    HPM UCN INTERFACE MODULE

    Background This is the modem interface between the HPM and UCN cable. In the
    PM and APM this required an IOP slot in the PM/APM chassis. This
    HPM UCN interface module plugs into the 50 pin cable socket for slot
    1 directly below the HPM Comm/Ctrl module. The 2 UCN cables
    connect to the front of this module. In January 2005 a new tab
    version of this UCN interface module was introduced due to
    obsolescence of parts required to build the older tab version. See
    Table 1 for details.

    Parts Table 1 lists all the tab versions and what is currently available.
