It included performances of the national anthem, school hymns and an invocation by SPED students. The school head and PSDS coordinator gave welcome and opening remarks. The seven competing teams were then introduced. The symbolic flame was lit by three basketball players before the oath of sportsmanship was recited. The ceremony concluded with a dance performance. The second day's events on October 14 were various sports competitions and vocal solo/duet contests held from 8 am to 5 pm at different venues. The closing ceremony and awarding of winners from the different events was scheduled for
