Course Policies
Item Policy
Quizzes Students have to follow the dates of the quizzes in the syllabus.
Failure in attending the final exam will result in zero mark unless the student presents an
official acceptable excuse to the Dean of his/her faculty who approves an incomplete
exam, normally scheduled to be conducted during the first two weeks of the successive

A student who is late more than 10 minutes will not be permitted to sit the exam (first,
second or mid exams).
A student who is late more than 30 minutes will not be permitted to sit to final exam, and
no student will be permitted to leave the exam centre before the elapse of 30 minutes.
Failure in attending the final exam will result in zero mark unless the student presents an
official acceptable excuse to the Dean of his/her faculty who approves an incomplete

exam, normally scheduled to be conducted during the first two weeks of the successive
semester.
Drop Date 14-10-2023 beginning of the add/drop week till 20-10-2023 end of the add/drop week.
All forms of cheating and plagiarism are prohibited. This includes:
Students have to sign in e-learning at least once a week during the semester.

on e-learning course page. Please make sure to check it regularly for any updates and
announcements.
It is expected for each student to spend at least 120 hours on the course during the

semester.
There will be two graded exams in this course. Midterm exam will be during weeks 8
and 9. Final exam will take place during weeks 15 and 16.
Graded Exams
Students have the right to discuss grades in class during the lecture. They have no right
to discuss their marks after giving back their graded papers.
Participation Students have to participate in class during the lectures, and in all course activities.
Assignments and projects should be submitted to the instructor on the due date. Zero
Assignment/ Projects mark will be given for late submissions unless the student has an acceptable excuse
approved by the instructor of the course.
Others Students need to follow the university’s policies.
