The Municipal Government is true to its commitment to help the poor but
deserving students has been extending financial support through its Special Program
for Employment of Student (SPES) and Argao Tertiary Education Scholarship
Assistance Program (ATESAP). The number of students accommodated in the
program has increased every school year.
The Municipality of Argao has one (1) government-operated higher learning
school. The Cebu Technological University Argao Campus (CTU-AC) is located on a

more or less 4 hectares lot at Barangay Lamacan, Argao, Cebu. It offered courses like
Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Bachelor of Science
in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Bachelor of
Science in Industrial Technology and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
