Your Mission:
As a Biomedical Engineer you will have the exciting opportunity to focus on advances in technology
and medicine to develop new breath analysis devices and equipment for improving human health.
You will co-ordinate, research and develop medical breath analysis products with the goal of delivering
projects on time, within budget and scope. You will also be responsible for supporting engineering

Salary Range: £29,000 to £46,000 Location: Bedfont® HQ - Harrietsham
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and
regulations
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Design breath analysis equipment and devices for diagnosing medical problems
• Install, maintain, or provide technical support for existing biomedical equipment
• Collaborate with manufacturing staff on the safety and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
• Train clinicians and others on the proper use of biomedical equipment
• Work with scientists to research how engineering principles apply to biological systems
• Develop statistical models or simulations using statistical or modelling software
• Prepare procedures and write technical reports and research papers
• Present research findings to a variety of audiences, including scientists, clinicians, managers,
other engineers, and the public
• Design or conduct follow-up experiments as needed
In addition, employees may be required to undertake other duties as may reasonably be required of
them. In these circumstances training will be given where it is considered.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years Biomedical Engineering experience preferably in homecare devices
• Bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or a related engineering field or
relevant engineering experience, preferably specialising in electronic engineering
• CAD/CAM Circuit Design
• CAD experience beneficial
• Knowledge of QMS 13485:2016 and the Medical Device Regulation beneficial
• PRINCE2 or PMQ qualification beneficial
