My hobby

Everybody has his or her hobby. And my favorite hobby is reading. I started to
get the hobby from my father when I was seven years old
I enjoy reading because reading can help you gain a lot of knowledge that will
be useful for your future. I have a special passion for English books, I read lots
of stories, comics, and even novels in English. It is a good way to improve my
vocabulary by exposing many new words.
To read books effectively, we need a quiet space. So I usually go to the library
to read books with my friends after school time or in my spare time. I read
books five times a week. I have a stack of them on my bed, so I can read several
pages before sleeping.
I wish someday I can write a good book written by my thoughts and hands. I
think the reading book is not as boring as you think. Books not only teach me
knowledge but also helps me to improve my vocabulary in English. Reading
books is an interesting indoor activity that you should try.

Health
In order to have a good health, there are many ways. First, sleep and nutritional
considerations are help to prevent the onset of a cold or flu, a healthy lifestyle
helps your immune system to be in its best possible shape, giving you the best
chance of being able to fight off the onset of a cold or flu. Next, do exercise
regularly because it has enhancing immune-system that can help ward off
illness. Finally, eat more fruits to get vitamin C that might prevent the common
cold. Furthermore, you had better drink more milk, this will be help you healthy
and stronger to prevent the cold.

 Community Service
Nowadays, there have been lots of many homeless people, especially street
children. I want to provide food, clothes and blankets for the them. The main
reason is that I want to share the things I have with children who are in need. I
hope no child will be hungry and cold in the winter. To do this work, I will cook
food and bring it to street children on the weekends. I will also encourage my
friends to donate clothes and blankets which they don’t need for the street
children. I’m interested in donating books. As you know , going to school is
very important today. Learning to get knowledge, add friends and have a
happiness in our life is essential. Unluckily, nowadays, there are some children
don't have chance to go to school. They are too poor. Therefore, I have collected
all my old books and encourage my friends to donate their books in order that I
can send them to the unlucky children.
The first university in Viet Nam
Let's discover the Temple of Literature with us. It is located in the centre of Ha
Noi We can easily buy tickets to visit it. They are sold at the entrance. There are
a lot of interesting things to see here such as Khue Van Pavillion, Doctors' stone
tablets, Thien Quang Tinh Well, etc. We can buy some souvenirs in the Temple
of Literature for gifts. Visiting time is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Are you ready to

Vietnamese food and drink
One of the simplest dishes is omelette that is served in busy days. Making
omelettes is very easy. The ingredients you need are eggs, cooking oil, salt or
chopped pork (if you want). First, you need whisk egg, salt, green onions and
chopped pork. Beat them until they turn a pale yellow color. Next, heat the
cooking oil until it is hot enough. Pour the egg mixture into the cooking oil.
When eggs are almost set on surface but still look moist, cover half of omelette
with filling. Cook for a minute, then slide omelette onto plate.
Festivals…
VD1: My favourite festival is Christmas. It celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. It
is an important festival in theWest. I love this festival because it brings a long
holiday to us to enjoy ourselves.Every year before Christmas, my family and I
buy some presents for relatives and friends. We decorate our house with a lot of
festive decorations. We put up a Christmas tree in the living room and we
decorate the tree with little angels, many beautiful bells and some little Santa
Clauses. We also place a big star on top of the tree.On Christmas Eve, my sister
and I put stockings beside our beds, and my parents secretly put some gifts
inside the stockings. I will also put gifts secretly under the pillows of my parents
to surprise them.During Christmas time, we have Christmas parties. I have
parties with my family, relatives and friends. We prepare a lot of food such as
turkey, Christmas cake, chicken wings and sausages. At the parties, I give
Christmas cards to everyone and we exchange gifts with each other. Together
we sing Christmas carols. Christmas is fun. I love this festival very much.
VD2: I would like tell you about my favorite festival. My favorite festival is
Halloween. It is on October 31st. In Halloween, people wear the scary clothes
like: monsters, dracuras, witches, mummies, franksteins,…. We usually go to
some houses to ask for some candies from the owner house. My favorite
activity is going with my friends to threaten some younger kids. I like to do that
beacause it is so interesting and it brings laughter and somebody will shout very
loudly .You should try it once in your life. I look foward to Halloween Day
again.
Film
Today I’d like to talk to you about Harry Porter which is one of my favourite
films. It was a fiction film telling a story about people in the wizarding world.
The central character was Harry Porter, who used to be an orphan in the normal
world before discovering that he was a wizard. Afterwards, he went to a special
school called Hogwart where taught him necessary skills to succeed in
wizarding world. He also had to deal with challenges in terms of study,
friendship, love and even the fight against dark power.
Harry Porter was recommended as a masterpiece that making me feel curious
about it. Moreover, I had read the original novel before, and I really can’t put it
down. So I guess the film would be as attractive as the book. I think the most
important reason why I enjoyed this film was that it made me feel adventurous.
It was really a fantastic film.
Write a paragraph about the traffic problems where you live
Nowadays, traffic problems is one of the biggest problems that Hanoi, the
capital of Vietnam, has to deal with. The first problem is traffic jams. There are
too many people using the roads, especially in rush hours when everyone is in a
hurry to get to work or come back home. Another problem is poor road
conditions. The road is too narrow and bumpy. Moreover, many streets in Hanoi
is usually flooded when it has heavy rain making it difficult to move. Traffic
accidents is the biggest problem. Everyday, there are more and more accidents
happening because of careless drivers: Driving after drinking alcohol, not
wearing helmets, and so on. Therefore, solving traffic problems is not only the
agent’s duty of Hanoi but also awareness of ourselves.
 Write about the rules (road safety) for pedestrians / drivers /
cyclists and motorists
The some rules for pedestrians: always look carefully where you go, walk across
the street at the zebra crossing, wear white or light-coloured clothes in the dark,
use the pavement or footpath, wait for the trafic light to turn green before you
cross the street.
The some rules for drivers: always fasten your seatbelt when you drive, don't
drive if you feel tired or after you drink alcohol, don't park in front of a zebra
crossing, strictly obey traffic signals.
The some rules for cyclists and motorist: always keep both hands on the handle
bars, always wear a helmet when you ride a motorbike, give a signal before you
turn left or right, use front and back lights at night, don't carry a passenger in
front of you.
Do you think music and arts should be compulsory subjects at
schools in Vietnam? Why or why not?
1. They help students have neccessary skills in order to get favorite job in
the future.
2. They make students feel relax after hard-working hours.
3. Arts helps us express creativity through each stroke; Music helps us feel
more blithe.
VD: I think arts and music shouldn't be compulsory subjects because if
you're have a natural talent you can study it and your scores are high, if
you don't have natural talent, your scores are low; if that is your dream to
be a singer or be an artist, you can learn it, and if your dream job won't be
singer or artist, you aren't interested in those subjects; if you are not good
at these subjects you have to practise for a long time and if it won't be
sucess, that means you're spending time not correctly; if you like or
interested in music or arts you can join some after-school classes or extra
classes to learn about them.
Write a paragraph about the benefits of the Internet
In my opinion, the internet is playing an important role in our modern life for
some reasons. Firstly, it is used as a source of information. If you want to know
different countries or you want to see the weather forecast, news, you only surf
the net in some minutes. The information of the inyernet is not only various but
also very update. Secondly, the internet is a world of entertainment. There are a
lot of interesting films, famous stories that we can see on the internet. Moreover,
we can listen to music, play our favourite games, thank to net. It helps us to
relax after a hard working day. Finally, the internet is a large school. We can
learn in an famous university at home by surfing the web. In conclusion, the
internet is a wonderful invention in our life, we should use it more and more.
 Write about what you are going to do on your holiday this summer
ESSAY 1 (100 WORDS)
Summer vacation is the holiday period during summer season. All the schools
and colleges become closed during this period because of the high
environmental temperature in summer months (especially half May and full
June). It becomes the hottest period of the year during summer vacation. Kids
feel very happy and relax all through the vacation. Most of the students
generally go to their native village, hill stations, or other cool places to enjoy
with cousins, family members or village friends. Some of the kids join
swimming or dancing classes to happily spend the vacation. Students are given
study work for summer vacation from the school which they have to submit on
opening of school.
ESSAY 2 (150 WORDS)
Summer vacation becomes the summertime fun for the kids which begin with
the ringing of last bell in the school. Summer vacation becomes the happiest
moments for the kids as they get a long break from the daily hec life of school
and school work. It is the time to get entertained by getting away from the
homework and nice trip to the home town, hill stations, and other cool places to
beat the summer heat very easily and happily. However, students get lots of
home work assignments from the school to complete at home and submit in
school after opening. Even after getting assignments to do at home, they feel
relaxed and entertained as they get off from the school because of high heat
summer.
Summer time is the quality time for the kids. It is the time of simple pleasure
and excitements. Kids can do anything what they are interested in. They can
enjoy with their parents, best friends, neighbors, etc all through the vacation.
