Maximum marks: 70 Total Time: 2hrs

Additional 45 minutes will be given to the student for downloading the question paper and
uploading of answer sheets.

Note: The question paper will be divided into three parts i.e. Section A, Section B and
Section C.

SECTION - A
Compulsory Questions

Answer all four questions. Each Questions carries five marks. Word limit 100 words.
(5x4= 20 Marks)

Question : 1 What do you mean by negotiation?


Question : 2 Elaborate the emerging challenges of industrial relations in India.
Question : 3 Outline the scope of participative management.
Question : 4 Discuss the objectives of trade union act, 1926.

SECTION - B
Short Answer Type Questions

Answer any two questions from the following. Each Question carries ten marks. Word limit
300 words. (10x2=20 Marks)

Question : 1 Discuss the impact of globalisation on industrial relation.

Question : 2 Discuss the steps involved in the collective bargaining process along with the
causes for failure of collective bargaining.

Question : 3 Explain in detail the industrial dispute preventive and settlement machinery in
India.
SECTION - C
Long Answer Type

Answer any two questions from the following. Each Questions carries fifteen marks. Word
limit 500 words. (15x2=30 Marks)

Question : 1 Explain the various Hazardous process and welfare facilities provided to the
workers under the Factory Act, 1948.

Question : 2 What is the penalties for offences made under the payment of wages act, 1936?
Also explain procedure for trail of offences.

Question : 3 Discuss the procedure for fixing and revising minimum wages and provision
regarding minimum time rates under minimum wages act, 1948?
