Hello teacher. My name is Đỗ Danh Hiển. I am 18 years old. I come from one of the
suburban districts of Hà Nội, Ứng Hòa District. I am living with my family near the
school. I am studying at Hanoi Open University in international law. When I first came
to the new school, I really liked it because the atmosphere here was very bustling, I got to
meet new friends from other provinces. my family consists of five people my
grandmother my parents my sister and me. I love my family very much. Whenever I have
free time, my family and I often cook together. I have a hobby of watching movies,
surfing social networks and playing folk sports and talk about with my friend. I'm new to
the city so I'm very interested in touring the city by motorbike.
1.Talk about a family member.
Family is really important in our daily life. They are always by your side and
wholeheartedly support you when you are in the toughest times. So today, I’m going to
talk about my mom. I love her . She is 44 years old and she is a teacher. She’s an
amazing woman, my best friend, and the most important person in my life. She has taught
me many life skills so that I can prepare for my life in the future. I’ve learned how to do
household chores, how to cook, and how to take care of myself since I started primary
school. My mom also is a hard-working person. Although she has to work super hard to
support the family, I’ve never heard her complain about hard work or things like that.
Besides, she encourages me to develop a habit of reading in my free time rather than
watching TV or surfing the Internet. She advises me to read more because the more I
read, the more knowledgeable I become. And if I want to improve my English skill, for
example, I should try to read books, or, magazines written in English that suit my age and
interests. She has taught me many important life lessons. I’ve learned a lot from my
mom. And I’ve learned how to make friends with the right people and stay away from
toxic people. She knows that I like Marketing very much, so she encourages me to pursue
a career in the business.
2.Talk about a famous person.
Without a doubta famous figure that I have a lot of admiration for is Taylor Swift. She is
the best singer in the world. She is an American. She is my biggest idol because she is a
great singer with beautiful voice. I really like the way she sings and the way she
expresses the feeling of the song. To my admiration, she has always worked seriously to
give high quality music products. She has many famous songs like: Teardrops on my
guitar, Our song, You belong with me, Safe & sound…. Besides her voice, Taylor is
beloved for her good personality. She is known to all her fans for her sense of humor.
Beside, she has been doing a lot of charity activities silently to help the poor, the sick and
the homeless people. If I ever had a chance, I would take she to my favorite restaurants in
Hanoi and introduce Vietnamese food to her. Of course I would take pictures with her
too, to post on my facebook wall but the most important thing would be for me to talk
with her, learn from her.
3.Talk about your free time.
Hello teachers. Nowadays, we spend most of our time working or learning, so we hardly
had any free time. Many people are trying to find the balance between work or learn and
leisure, so I am. When I have some free time, I love reading a economic books or affiliate
Marketing books. I can spend hours reading about marketing books. By reading, I get
better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long
periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. I feel read books about
affiliate marketing to help me in my future work. Howver, I spend most of my free time
to read a book, and read news. I read books mostly in my room and sometimes in the
library. Besides reading books, I spend time with my family, go out with my friend( such
as: sit down and talk, have a barbecue, have a dinner in a restaurants), go to the cinema
(to see comedy, Darma, Sciend Fiction…), watch TV, listening to music, … Thank for

4.Talk about the role of mobile phone in daily life.
Nowadays, the mobile phone plays a major role in our life, which brings many benefits to
us but also contains some drawbacks. Do you know What People Can Learn From
Mobile Mobile phones have become a lifeline of human being. First of all, the mobile
phone is considered the quickest means of communication in our daily life, we can
contact easily with our friends and our relative wherever by calling or sending messages.
Second, Easily Use Internet Access & Social Media: The Internet is one of the main
approvals “áp pro vồ” to human by technology. No one can visualize the life without the
Internet Third, the mobile phone is also a means of entertainment for people. We can
listen to music and play games on mobile phone. Moreover, by using the latest apps for
smartphones , we can access to the internet to watch Film and check our profile in social
networks and update our status wherever we are. Final, If we have a smartphone in hand,
our studying becomes more effective such as look up dictionary, find out many source of
reference on internet which is useful for studying. On the other hand, the mobile phone is
also many disadvantage. First, telephone user become to addicted their mobile phone if
they are too depends on it, moreover, the ability of human communication is limited if
the mobile phone is more present in some event such as class meetings, on the bus, in the
park…some people only focus on their phone without communicating The use of mobile
phones too much will make people take a lot of time, it not only influence on study
results, makes students distraction. Final, we shouldn't use mobile phone while we are
driving because it can lead traffic accidents. In conclusion, mobile phone is necessary for
our modern life. It will be better if we use it true purpose and in an appropriate time.
5.Take about living in a big family.(*****)
Now I am talking about big family. A big family has parents, children and uncles, aunties
and grandparents. Therefore, children can enjoy the company of all the members. They
are never alone. The older children are likely to help out with the house work when they
are older. They may also be able to help with babysitting their younger siblings. Children
can look to their older siblings as positive role models. They can also either ask them or
their parents for help if they have a problem. A big family also has a joyful atmosphere.
Everyone has his/her story at the end of the day and they all sit and talk about their good
experiences. Finally, a big family can save money in many different ways. Because they
all live together, the cost becomes low in total and they can save a lot. However, living in
a big family has some disadvantage. There may be a lot of arguments. With so many
personalities in the household, there are times when family members do not get on. In
conclusion, it's worth considering that there are both pros and cons of living in a big
family.
6.What are the pros and cons of living in big cities
Many people agree that living in big cities is a great choice while others said that living
in a small village is better. In this essay I will discuss advantages and disavantages of big
city. First, I will mention the advantages. The cities now are very modern. When you live
in big cities you will receive the latest devices in the world. You will also have a better
internet connection when living in countryside. Second, there are many skyscrapers in big
cities. The skyscrapers saves space and it is more convenient. When living in big cities,
you will also have many job opportunities. However, there are disadvantages too. Firstly,
the high crime rate make the local inhabitants more worried. There are thieves, robbers,
kidnappers, and others now are very evil these days. Secondly, big cities is polluted. The
sounds from vehicles, and music concerts are very disruptive. There are also air, water
and ground pollution. Lastly, traffic jams is are usual problems in the cities since there
are lots of people and vehicles, the roads are usually croweded. The traffic jam can lead
to accidents. Accidents happen when people cross the road and some vehicles came
closer by, then they crash together. In my opinion, I prefer living in countryside because I
was born there. You will just have to be more careful when living in big cities...
7.Talk about a famous place in your country.
Vietnam has many tourist destinations, each with different experiences. However, Quang
Binh is where I feel the most deeply impressed. Quang Binh is an arid land, treated very
harshly by nature, but Quang Binh is still beautiful. not only beautiful in the eyes of
Vietnamese people, but also with foreign friends Quang Binh is a province in the Central
region, adjacent to Ha Tinh and Quang Tri With a population of more than 300 small
caves and a 116 km long coastline with beautiful white sands, Quang Binh is becoming a
fully functional point in the system of "Central Heritage Road". Those who love freedom
and freedom, want to experience places with unspoiled beauty, can't help but come to this
place. When it comes to Quang Binh, everyone knows Phong Nha - Ke Bang Cave.

8.Describe one of your best friends.
I have a best friend, and his name is Đức (D-U-C). Đức has been my classmate since we
were in elementary school, and it means that we have been friends for more than years.
My best friend is 18 years old the same age as me. Our hometown has a famous place
called “Zone Khu Chay” where it used to be a famous battleground against the French..
We are from the same hometown, which is Hà Nội province. But now we both leave our
homeland to study in Hà Nội. He is single and a freshman at Hanoi Open University. He
has short black hair, oval face and brown eyes. What pảticularly struck me about his was
the smile. He looks so lovely when he smiles. I am good at History while Duc is excellent
in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in
understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Đức is always by my side whenever I
feel upset. I tell everything, and only he can know my true feelings. More than that, he is
a person with a warm and loving heart. That’s why he pampers me so much. I love my
best friend.
9.Talk about your daily life.
Hello teacher !!! My name’s Danh Hiển. I’m from Ha Noi city. I’m 19 years old. Today,
I wanna tell you about my daily activities. My daily activities depend on my work
schedule, so nothing is fixed. The only routine I never skip is writing in a diary, which
gives me time to reflect on my day. To be honest with you, I’m a night owl. I usually get
out of bed quite late, at around 9 a.m, and hit the sack at around 3 a.m. I don’t know why
but I can only fully focus on work at night. Every morning I just wanna lie in till almost
lunchtime. I brush my teeth, wash the face after getting up. I have lunch on 11 a.m. I
think I can cook very good. Because I'm the only one who eats it, I usually cook simple
dishes. and i have class schedule at 1pm. After finishing school, I prepare to go to the
company. Currently, I am a customer service for Hoang Ha mobile company. I feel this
job helps me a lot for the future. This job makes me understand the psychology of
customers, improve communication skills, handle situations. I work 4 hours a day and
maybe more if I don't have a class that day. After work, I go home and eat dinner.
Although I feel tired, I feel very happy. After dinner, I usually eat yogurt because this
food is very good for health. After eating and drinking, I take a shower and take care of
my skin. and then I talk to my friends and watch my favorite movie. In addition, I often
read books about affiliate marketing to help me in my future work. I feel that having
many soft skills will be useful in the future. I feel my life is very happy and I want to

10.Talk about your future plans.
People plan their future activities to get better of the time and the resources. I have a
future plan which will surely change the course of my life. I’m a first year student and in
the economics in Hanoi Open University now. Currently, I am a customer service for
Hoang Ha mobile company. I feel this job helps me a lot for the future. This job makes
me understand the psychology of customers, improve communication skills, handle
situations. I work 4 hours a day and maybe more if I don't have a class that day. After
graduating from my university, I hope to find a good job with a good salyry in an
environment I could use my abilities. I also want to earn much money from my work in
the future, so I will work hard to earn a higher salary than expected. In addition, I often
read books about affiliate marketing to help me in my future work. I feel that having
many soft skills will be useful in the future. In the future, I would like to build my own
company. I will employ many people and give them work in order to contribute to the

11.What is the role of technology in our life?.
In the industrial revolution 4.0, the world of technology becomes more explosive and
popular than ever. Technology plays an important role in society today. Technology
affects the way individuals communicate, learn, and think. It helps society and
determines how people interact with each other on a daily basis. It has positive and
negative effects on the world and it impacts daily lives. We are living in an era where
technological advances are common. The internet and cell phones are some examples. I
use technologies like radio, television and very useful apps installed on my phone to
improve my English every day.. One is able to gather ample knowledge and experience
by enrolling in online courses or by watching tutorials. This is possible only because
technology has such a huge role to play in our lives.While technology makes our lives
much more easier, it also has affected our lives negatively.Due to the increasing use of
devices, we are losing out on human touch. People are missing out on the real
experiences because of technology. Overuse of gadgets is also leading to mental health
issues.While you cannot escape using technology because it has become an integral part
of our lives, you can ensure that you don't fall a prey to the negative consequences.
Therefore, spend some time in the nature, show kindness, have real conversations, travel,
read a book. Stay away from technology whenever you get a chance and you will find a
life where peace reigns supreme.
12.Talk about your hobbies.
People say that book is the endless source of knowledge, and luckily my favorite activity
in my free time is reading books. I started this bobby when i was 10 years old. I often
reading books whenever and wherever I can. I read news, story books and novels and
especially have passion for marketing books. I can spend hours reading about marketing
books. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I
am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. When I
am sad or disheartened, I often mix myself with book. I realize that the life has many
meanful things than i thought and i need to try my best for my bright future. Book also
bring me more motivation and joy of life. I feel read books about affiliate marketing to
help me in my future work. i feel that having many soft skills will be useful in the future.

13.Talk about your last holiday.
Hello everybody. Now, I’m talking about my summer holiday. Last summer holiday, in
order to escape the extreme heat of Ha Noi city, my family and I decided to go to Quang
Ninh Province. We went there by car. Tuan Chau Island is the most developed beach in
Quang Ninh Province. It is really interesting, very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand.
Tuan Chau has the beauty of modernity and freshness, attracting many visitors by its
convenience. There are a lot of beauty spots, and good seafood there. We stayed in Sun
Bay hotel. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea. There
were so many activities but we were only able to do just a few things on our three day
trip. The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea was cool and clear, because it was
very windy in the afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. We took a lot of
Photograps of the sea, bought a lot of seafood especially octopus and some sea present
for our relatives. The water music show is the most popular tourist destination on Tuan
Chau Island. And we really like that. Each show usually lasts 40 minutes. My brother
took a lot of photographs. My younger brother filmed a lot of videos to keep memories.
We absolutely enjoyed our holiday trip and we actually are planning on another trip so
we can try out more activities in Quang Ninh. We hope to go there again. It is very much
a worth-living city.
14.Talk about your present place of living.
As a university student, living away from home is inevitable. Currently, I live with my
uncle and aunt. I am more fortunate than other students that I do not have to rent a hostel.
Living with relatives helps me have a pretty good life. I don't have to prepare too many
things when entering the student life. Where I live is a 3-storey house, 40km from home,
on Bach Mai street, a busy street in Hai Ba Trung district of Hanoi. The current house is
quite close to Thong Nhat park. Thanks to that, I can exercise every morning and admire
the daily beauty of Hanoi. I am a person who likes to cook, but my house is near the
market, so I often go to the market to buy food to cook. The market is about 1 block from
my house. Making friends with my aunt's modern kitchen made me improve my cooking
skills significantly. I live on the 3rd floor of the house, so my room has a very beautiful
view of the street. I plant many trees on the balcony. Talking more about where I live, the
neighbors are extremely friendly. My neighbor once helped me fix my motorbike when it
couldn't start, so I wasn't late for school that day. The place where I work part-time is also
close to home. So now I really enjoy living where I live a convenient life, close
neighbors, and most of all, I'm not too far from my family.
15.Talk about your English class.
Hello everybody. As you know, I have attended to an English class lately. I am very
interested in learning English because it is very useful for my job. I would like to
introduce my English teacher who made a strong impression on me. My teacher is Miss
Phương Anh who is very friendly and enthusiastic. She is tall, young, slim body with
round face and bright smile.. She knows how to make the lesson interesting and has a
good method of teaching English. She is a devoted and responsible teacher as she always
prepares carefully all the lessons before going to class There are more than 30 students in
my class with many different city. My classmates are very friendly and always help me to
learn English. We usually play games about previous lessons, so we have many chances
to talk with each other in English, of course. I'm scared to hear and speak English . I am
afraid of listening and speaking English but since I studied here, I have gradually
improved in this skill. I enjoy my English lessons, especially the pronounciation practice.
I’m not very good at English, but I hope to improve the language. I love my teacher and

17.Talk about an interesting book.
There is a super famous comic book series that I am sure most of people in all over the
world know, and it is Doraemon. The story is about a robot cat from the future who has to
come back to the past to help a small boy to fix his life. That boy is Nobita – a slow boy.
Together they been through a lot of interesting things in the daily life as well as
adventures. Doraemon has a small pocket , but actually it is a magic pocket which can
contain countless of things. That is where he stores all of his gadgets from the future, and
they help Nobita to overcome the difficulties in his life. Besides the two main characters,
Nobita has other friends such as Shizuka, Takeshi, Suneo, Doremi, Deki and many more.
Shizuka is Nobita’s crush. Takeshi is the one who always bully Nobita for his silliness,
but sometimes he also stands out to protect his friends and family. Suneo is a rich kid,
and he is the best assistant of Takeshi when bullying Nobita. The comic is not just only a
form of entertainment, but it also has many valuable lessons about life. We can learn how
to treasure friendship, protect the environment, and stay away from bad things after
reading it. Doraemon is my favorite book, and I think there are a lot of people out there
also love it like me.
18.Talk about pros and cons of travelling by train.
Now a day, the life is more and more modern. We have many transports to go anyway
like bike, motorbike, car, train, bus. Life is improved, people need are increasing. And
travelling is apart of their life. First of all, it can be said that travelling by train has some
noteworthy positive effects. Compared to buses, cars or planes, many trains are
downright luxurious. The seats themselves tend to be comparable to airplane seats, but
travelers don't have to wear seat belts and are free to walk up and down the length of the
train while it's moving. Some trains have restaurant cars, complete with beds, free wi-fi
and, sometimes, full bathrooms. People say that, traveling by train is much safer than
traveling by car. Traveling by train allows passengers to bring two carry-on bags and two
suitcases free of charge, and two additional suitcases for a small fee. Traveling by train
you can see natural beauty. you can look at the beautiful fields or nice coast. However,
travelling by train also has some disadvantage. you have to get off at the right point in the
schedule. You won't feel comfortable on the train because there is no privacy. The
opposite people might carry on loud phone calls during the trip. In conclusion, it's worth
considering that there are both pros and cons of travelling by train.
19.Talk about your dreams for future.

their own opinion on how to live their own life. You want your fleeting time on Earth to
matter, right? Here's how to live a better life, one that others will remember. First, I
always think positively in everything. Positive thinking does not mean looking at life
through rose-colored glasses, nor does it mean that we will not accept bad things. Positive
thinking helps us to better handle difficult situations. Positive thinking makes life
healthier and helps you a lot Don't be jealous of others. Being jealous of others is killing
ourselves. So I never envy anyone. Instead of being jealous of others, let's try to live
better. Mom always taught me "failure is the mother of success". And this is the way how
I live. Fear of failure can deter people from taking action yet if you never try anything
you'll never achieve anything. Failing isn't easy or fun, but you can't let it dictate how you
live your life.
