SYMPTOM:
SC665-01 or SC666-01 is displayed.
Description:
Components of 37V power circuit are damaged.
SOLUTION:
1. Confirm whether SC665-01 had been displayed before SC666-01.
SC665-01 is displayed when the FFC between HRB and BiCU is not correctly inserted on those
boards. For the detail explanation, please see the index A. in Reference section.
If YES, the circuit damaging cause exists on the route from Print Head to HRB. For example,
ink leak on the Head Control Board destructs the BiCU on 37V power circuit.
If NO, the circuit damaging cause cannot be clarified.
2. Replace following parts all together then power on the machine. For the detail explanation, please see
the index B. in Reference section.
Print heads (Both Bk and Color)
FFCs between Print heads to HRB (2 cables for each head. Totally, 8 cables)
HRB
FFCs between HRB and BiCU (Totally, 5 cables)
BiCU

Reference:
A. The detail explanation for SC665-01
SC665-01 is one of the tools to prevent the destruction of 37V power circuit components. The detection
sequence is as follows.
1. The machine examines the state of connection between HRB and BiCU.
2. If communication error is found, SC665-01 is displayed not supplying 37V to the Print head to prevent
the head destruction.
3. If communication error is not found, 37V is supplied to the Print head then the state of 37V power circuit
is examined to decide SC666-01 has to be displayed.
B. Useful tips for examining the state of components of 37V power circuit
C. Machine specification
There is no detection sequence for examining communication state between Print Head and HRB.
