1. Create two classroom floor plans. The first plan should depict a monograde
classroom that you are familiar with. Show how the room is set up and where the
furniture and materials are placed. On the other hand, the second plan should show
a multigrade classroom. Illustrate how you'd organize things differently to efficiently
use the classroom space. Properly label all areas.

Answer the following questions in a 5-sentence paragraph answer only:

What are the things to consider in improving multigrade classrooms? Why is the
physical learning environment important? How can a conducive learning
environment improve the learning process? Being a teacher is one of the most
demanding jobs around it can be made even more challenging if your incharge of
teaching multigrade classroom. Some ways to consider of improving multigrade
classrom is there will be times you’ll be teaching a group of students and another will
be left to their own devices. You should create some structured activities or lessons
for these students to busy themselves with while your attention is on some students.
These can be solo activities such as quiet reading or simple grouping projects .

Physical school environment combines both theoritical and practical Aspects of


learning, unlike online classes. This contributes to the overall cognitive and skill
development of the students. Practical learning allow students to learn quickly to
adapt to daily challenges. A well maintained and safe physical environment of high
quality fosters positive attitudes and motivators. Related to students ability to learn,
academic and achievement and prosocial behavior. The learning environment is
capable of stimulating students to engage in the learning process and able to
influence the behaviour of students as well as assist in the development of their skills
or cognitive perception. When a child is sitting in the classroom, he/she develops
more interest in the studies and interaction skills. Classroom environments are more
beneficial as teachers and students are physically interacting with each other. As
there is eye-to-eye contact, students’ minds will not be distracted by other activities.
A physical school environment combines both theoretical and practical aspects of
learning, unlike online classes.

An engaged learning environment increases student attention and focus, promotes


meaningful learning experiences, encourage higher levels of students performance
and motivates students to practice higher level critical thinking skills. Also it boost
students interaction with peers and teachers. Students are given frequent feedback,
however task require more time , effort and investment. Allow students to apply what
they’ve learned in other situations. Allow for the exploration of diversity.
