Made from scratch!

It all starts with a great crust, a whisking
of pumpkin and spices, pop it in the
oven, and yum, yum, yum! Annette
Boyer has been having her 1st grade
students making pumpkin pies for
Thanksgiving in the classroom for 22 of
24 years (COVID) that she has taught
in Glasgow. She enlists the help of the
kids’ parents, grandparents and friends.
Each kid gets to take home their own
little pie to show off to their families. They
also make big pies that each kid gets a
slice of to try with homemade whipped
cream! At left is Jack Wilson; lower left
are Westlyn Richter and Maddyson
Kolpin, and below are Robbie Calkin,
Casen Pedersen, Prudence Due and
Taryn Sundeen. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi-Line Sportsmen are reducing at least
one barrier to participation in hunting:
helping defray the costs of commercial
processing of harvested venison. The
Glasgow-based conservation group will
underwrite the cost of processing venison
for hunters in financial need. Partnering
with Hi-Line Sportsmen is Brian “Auzzie”
