Introduction

As I reflect on the completion of this course, I cannot help but be filled with a sense of
accomplishment and growth. Throughout the term, I've gained valuable insights and skills that I
believe will greatly benefit my future studies here at UoPeople.

The most effective strategy I learned during this course

The most useful strategy I learned during this course was the art of time management. The
course load, while manageable, was quite substantial, and the assignments and discussions often
demanded a significant amount of time and attention. Learning to manage my time effectively
was essential in ensuring that I could meet all the deadlines and maintain the quality of my work.

How I will apply this strategy in my future studies at UoPeople?

I plan to apply this strategy in my future studies by creating a structured schedule and sticking to
it. I’ll prioritize tasks, set clear goals for each day, and avoid procrastination. I’ve realized that
good time management not only helps in meeting academic obligations but also reduces stress
and allows for a more balanced life.

The most surprising thing I learned this term

The most surprising thing I learned this term was the effectiveness of collaborative learning
through peer assessment. Initially, I was skeptical about peer assessment. I had concerns about
the objectivity of my peers and wondered if they could provide valuable feedback. However, my
perspective has completely shifted.

Why it surprised me?

The surprise came from the realization that peer assessment is not just about receiving feedback
but also about learning through evaluating the work of others. Assessing my peers' assignments
exposed me to different viewpoints, writing styles, and presentation techniques. It allowed me to
critically analyze and understand the subject matter from diverse angles. This, in turn, enhanced
my own learning and analytical skills.
How I feel about peer assessment and my feeling changed?

My feelings about peer assessment have transformed over the course of the term. Initially, I was
apprehensive, but now I feel much more comfortable with it. I've come to appreciate the peer
assessment process as a valuable educational tool. It fosters a sense of responsibility and
encourages thoughtful engagement with the course materials. It's a chance to not only receive
feedback but also give back to my peers and contribute to their growth.

What I learned while assessing my peer’s work?

Moreover, I’ve learned the importance of constructive feedback. While assessing my peers'
work, I realized how vital it is to provide feedback that is specific, actionable, and supportive.
This is a skill I will carry forward into my future studies, as it not only helps others improve but
also reinforces my own understanding of the subject matter.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this course has been an enriching journey of personal and academic growth. Time
management, the value of peer assessment, and the art of giving constructive feedback are the
key takeaways. These lessons will undoubtedly shape my approach to future studies at
UoPeople, and I look forward to continuing to develop these skills as I progress through my
academic journey.
