1.

Hi, good afternoon, todays topic from

me is about Low code, what is it, some
pros and cons and some real examples.
2. To answer the question what low code
I will first read a definition: "Low-code is a
visual development approach that enables
the creation of applications with minimal
hand-coding and manual programming
effort." So in other words the low code is
transforming the way we create software,
making it more accessible, fun and not so
technical, code, looking.
3. I will go through some adventages of
low code. ------First of all, it helps to create
programs quickly, we can respond faster
to changes of the business and market
needs.----- It also saves money because it
makes the development process simpler
and more efficient. -----With low code,
people from different parts of the team
can work together better, like developers,
business analysts and users. ---- And
maybe the biggest adventage is that it
makes it easier for people who don’t know
much about coding to get involved in
creating applications. So to simplify it, it’s
a helpful tool that brings speed, savings,
teamwork and accesibility.
4. In the real world, many companies use
low-code to build applications quickly. For
example, a small business might use low-
code to create a simple customer
management system, helping them keep
track of their clients. In healthcare, low-
code could be used to design a system for
scheduling appointments and managing
patient records, making processes more
efficient. In education, schools might use
low-code to develop a student
information system, ensuring easy access
to student data. Even non-tech experts
can benefit; someone with a store might
use low-code to build a basic online
shopping platform without extensive
coding knowledge.
5. I want to show you how the low code
platform can look like. I choosed Scratch,
because Its often taught in schools, so
maybe you saw it before. As you can see,
its really simple. On the left side we have
there a menu of types of blocks what we
can use. In the middle we build the code
and on the right side there is window with
our result. Usually we use some kind of
sprite which is basically a character or and
object which can do some actions.
6. I prepared a simply code for this
moving cat. When you start the
application, you can move with the cat
endlessly. If you want up or down, you just
simply increase or decrease the Y, and if
you want to go right or left, you change
the X. You can see the if statement in the
green boxes. The purple boxes are for
sound, so everytime the cat is moving, its
talking. This is very colorful, because its
ment for children.
7. While low-code brings numerous
benefits, it's essential to acknowledge its
challenges. These may include limitations
in customization, scalability concerns, and
dependencies on platform providers. But
understanding these aspects helps us
make informed decisions in our
development journey.
8. There are strategies to overcome these
challenges. ------First of all its important to
choose the right low-code platform, -----
you should do proper planning as
everytime while creating something -----
and its good to keep checking and fixing
the mistakes the company may have
during using it. By doing these things, we
can manage challenges better and make
sure the low-code system works smoothly.
9. As technology gets better, low-code is
also improving. In the future, there are
some interesting things we can look
forward to, like more connection with AI,
things being more automatic, and the
chance to easily make apps that work on
different devices. This means we can
expect low-code to be even more useful
and flexible in the upcoming years.
10. And thats all from me about low code,
hope it was okey. Thank you for your
attention.
