Symptoms
Changing the Security Gateway version to R80.10 causes the object to be unable to saved, the following error is shown:
"failed to save object server error is an internal error has occored. code 0x8003001D could not access file for write operation.
Please contact internal support".

Following log is found in the cpm.elg file:

Cause
A lock exists on an IPS exception.

Solution
Remove the locked session from SmartConsole: Manage & Settings > Administrators.

This solution has been verified for the specific scenario, described by the combination of Product, Version and Symptoms. It may not work in other scenarios.
