Topic 3 of the seminar:The origin of the nomad civilization
Discussion on oral questions about the prerequisites, features and area of formation of the nomadic civilization of the period of ancient metallurgy; origins, stages and continuity of the Eneolithic and Bronze Ages; material and spiritual culture, the genesis of animal husbandry. Seminar plan: 1. Stages of formation and main centers of nomadic civilization in the period of ancient metallurgy. 2. Features of the economy of the Eneolithic and Bronze Ages in the Great Steppe. 3. Specificity and distribution area of the spiritual and material culture of the Bronze Age. 4. New approaches to the study of the Eneolithic and Bronze Age on the territory of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the seminar: To reveal the prerequisites, features and area of formation of the nomadic civilization of the period of ancient metallurgy; to study the features and continuity of the periods of the Eneolithic and Bronze Ages; dwell on the historical significance of the genesis of animal husbandry. Methodical recommendations: An oral analysis of research papers devoted to the problem of studying and the historical significance of the formation of a nomadic civilization and the processing of metals of the Bronze Age is carried out. It is also necessary to study the anthropological type, social structure and spiritual, material culture of the ancient population of Kazakhstan, analyze new approaches to the development of urban culture, and characterize the sites and monuments. Students are divided into several groups, have a discussion, work with a map. 2 week . 4 seminar. 1 hour. 5 points. Topic 4 of the seminar:The culture of horsemanship Prerequisites for the formation of nomadism: considering the natural-geographical and socio-cultural factors, students identify the role and importance of animal husbandry, analyze the features of the types of economy, conduct oral discussions about the beginning, stages and continuity of nomadism. Seminar plan: 1. Periodization of the history of nomadism. 2. The role and importance of animal husbandry, natural features. 3. The culture of riding. 4. Cattle breeding and development of steppe, desert and semi-desert zones. The purpose of the seminar: To identify the historical background of nomadism and the periodization of the history of nomads, to analyze and comprehensively, on the basis of scientific works, consider the types and features of the economy, cattle breeding, riding culture, natural features. Methodical recommendations: The stages of the formation and development of nomadic civilization, the historical significance of the problem of domestication and economic use of livestock, the development of the steppe, semi-desert and desert zones in accordance with natural features will be identified, and an oral analysis of approaches and conclusions in research papers related to nomadic civilization will be given.
