Reflection

Support your answer.
 Yes, because if there are no policy guidelines and agreement, there
will be chaos and disorder.

2. Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why?
 Yes, there are some unacceptable rules because they are so
unreasonable, don’t make any sense at all, are ridiculous, and are
not even important to the company.
ACTIVITY 3|Situational Analysis

CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Suppose you work in a police station or a law firm and signed a

confidentiality agreement regarding all their cases at hand, suddenly
your friend who was a suspect to a crime asked you for some
documents that are in your office’s possession that may help him in
his case. How would you deal with the situation?

• If I were in this situation even though he/she is my friend I will

never help him/her because as a worker in this company or agency
we signed an agreement that we must keep information
confidentiality. I maintain confidentiality in the workplace because
it is important to me as an employee in this company. I will help my
friend in a different way if he/she is really true and if she is really
not one of the suspect without needing to get information in the
office. We need to use a fair and right method if he/she is innocent.
ACTIVITY 4|Conflict Resolution

Did you ever experience disagreement and conflict with

co-workers? How did you handle the situation? How would you
rate your skills in handling differences of opinion? Please give an
example that illustrates that skill.

• Yes, there have been some disagreements and conflicts between

my coworkers. I just ask them what is wrong and hear both side’s
opinions if there are any misunderstandings. I’m not really good at
handling a conflict, but I am trying to be able to handle one so, I
could only rate myself out of 10 is 4. There are coworkers who are
having a conflict, and I go there and ask if there is something wrong
between them, then hear them explain their problem and why they
are having a conflict, then find a solution to make them apologize to
each other.
