Allocation product. I assisted the post-sales team in presenting the application

scoping field customizations used for functional specifications.

proprietary hardware communication drivers.

Worked closely with hardware development group to help create software


to communicate with proprietary hardware protocols. From the design
specifications, I created drivers to automatically scan PC serial and USB ports
to communicate with hardware.

Also created a new user interface used to guide users to automatically


download data from hardware. A new user interface was created to display
and configure stored settings in hardware monitor.

Helped management review different 3rd party charting tools to determine best
solution for future software.

Contract programmer responsible for troubleshooting and repairing issues


found with existing code. Worked with multiple web objects created using
Visual Basic. Also worked extensively with SQL Server queries and stored
procedures.

Tasks included analyzing issues found by QA and determining the root cause
of each issue. I was fortunate to be able to work on many different proprietary
web and database objects.

to replace a legacy Visual Basic 6.0 - Customer Management System (CMS).

New intranet application is designed to replace CMS and integrate the EPS
management system named HALxp.

Responsibilities include:
* Architect responsible for designing the .NET infrastructure for new ASP.net
enterprise application.
* Redesigned CMS database structure to allow for future scalability.
Department upgraded to SQL Server 2000 for project
* Design the ASP.net interface
* Create all business objects using Visual Basic.net

* Designed security infrastructure for new system

Lead programmer responsible for designing interface and processing layers for
new Enterprise Processing System. This suite of applications is used to input,
verify and warehouse data received from State-wide health care providers.

This new system incorporated a 3-tiered, client server Visual Basic 6.0 front-
end to SQL Server 7.0 database.

The primary objective of project was to create a new suite of applications that
encompassed four existing systems. Design considerations included:

* Intuitive user interface design and functionality to reduce training


requirements for existing users. This was achieved using Interactive Design
Techniques
* Faster processing speeds accomplished by using multiple threads and MTS
* Incorporated flexible security
* Improved relational database design
