entire resort was provided with a Gigabit Ethernet
TELEPHONY Passive Optical Network for deploying services
such as broadband internet, IP Telephony, IP TV and
Wireless LAN. Products and solutions from world
leading vendors such as HP, Planet, 3CX, Infostar,

Juniper and Molex has been used for design and
deployment of this state of the art technology
solution and integrated with Property Management
WIRELESS
System (PMS). The PMS and other application
services are deployed on highly available VMware
virtualization platform providing this remote, resort
IP CAMERA with a very reliable, fault resilient infrastructure

GEPON

TELEPHONY

CABLING Robinson Club Hotel is located on the island of Orivaru, Noonu atoll. VSIS has been entrusted with a turnkey
project to implement a complete end-to-end ELV solution. The solution includes Optical Fiber Network based
on GPON technology to connect the entire resort. All guest rooms as well as administration blocks has been
provided with Wi-fi with UPS power in the Equipment Room. On top of that services such as Telephony, IPTV
WIRELESS are all designed and deployed with IP connectivity. We have used products from world leading vendor such
as HPE, Avaya, Calix, Molex, Infostar, Kehuwa. A network security and management frame work has been
put into place for protecting the network again any hacking as well as for control and prioritization. The
implementation of 13 km long Optical fiber cabling for including water villas was a challenging in terms of
IP CAMERA
installation as well as selection suitable cables and material to withstand the rough sea water splashes.

Reference: Aarah Hotel, Maldives
Aarah, opening late 2017, sees the first resort
from Sri Lankan luxury hotel brand Heritance
LAN in the Maldives. The resort should be a step
up from the budget sister properties Adaaran,
plans for a luxary158 villas. VSIS had to
compete with all the leading SI companies in
TELEPHONY the country during the bidding stage. After
careful and detailed evaluation by consultants
as well as by Aitken Spence, the owners of
Aarah Hotel, VSIS has been selected for this
GEPON turnkey project of ELV implementation at
Aarah. The scope of work include Avaya IP
PABX, Cisco LAN, Meraki Wireless, Zhone
GPON, Delta Building Management System,
WIRELESS
Products from world leading vendors,
Fortigate Firewall, Teleadapt Media Hub and
Structured Cabling with CommScope. The
entire property is covered with a optical fiber
IP CAMERA backbone running more than 32 kilo meters.
