    Yes, I was able to address my hypothesis with the data collected. My hypothesis was supported by the
    data.

    a. From 58 total green marbles are 10

    For 1 marble = 10/58

    So if the total number of marble is 10,000

    Then the green marble are

    = (10*10000)/58

    = 1724.14

    =1725 9approximately)

    So based on my sample I can predict that the big container has approximately 1725 green marbles.

    b. If the total average is 58.75, the average of orange marble 9.5

    For 1 marble 9.5/58.75

    Then for 10000 marbles, orange marbles are

    =(9.5*10000)/58.75

    = 1617.02

    =1618 (approximately)

    So based on my sample I can predict that the big container has approximately 1618 orange marbles.

    Sample – 1000 litres of water from Buriganga River

    Volume of Buriganga River – 470000000 cubic meters

    “marbles represents fishes”

    Calculations

    Our sample contains 1000 litres of water

    Buriganga River contains 470000000 cubic meters of water


    Our sample contains 7 red marbles

    We know,

    1000 litre = 1 cubic meter

    Therefore,

    In 1 cubic meter of water there are 7 red fishes

    In 470000000 cubic meter of water (7*470000000) red fishes

    = 3290000000 red fishes

    Ans: based on my sampling we expect to find 3290000000 red fishes in the whole haka
