With the attitude of never
backing down in any competition,
the Glasgow Highlanders stormed
the Capital City for the prestigious
Helltown Throwdown.
The Highlanders will host the
Glasgow Wrestling Club annual
invitational tournament Saturday.
At noon the mats will be cleared to
honor former club wrestler Luke
Zeiger. Zeiger has been inducted into
the MHSA/Wendy’s Hall of Fame.
Zeiger is the lone Glasgow Scotties to
win four state Class B championships
in his career.
The tournament is expected to
have over 500 youth wrestlers. This
has become a premier regular-season
event in the Northeast Division.
The Helena Tournament had a
record 1,111 boys and girls competing.
There were 71 clubs in attendance.
This was the first time for Glasgow to
compete in the tournament in its 10
years of existence. The Highlanders
were the fifth largest squad competing.
Collins Flaten won the
Bantam/8U championship. TenLea
Sundeen won the Intermediate/10U
crown. Not to be out done was Taden
Sundeen, who took the Novice/12U
title. And Riley Pedersen captured
the Middle School title. 7th grade Highlanders Leo Erickson, center, has a handful with Aiden

During this highly-anticipated time of the year, girls
flex their entrepreneurial muscles and acquire important life
skills like goal setting, decision making, money management,
people skills and business ethics. All proceeds from cookie
sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’
amazing experiences year-round.
This year’s theme, Unbox the Future, aims to remove
social barriers that often keep girls boxed in. When bold,
