optimal parameters of a PID controller in an Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) system
by the approach of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Differential Evolution (DE)
Techniques is presented. This paper demonstrated in detail how to employ the PSO and
DE methods to search efficiently the optimal PID controller parameters of an AVR
system. A MATLAB simulation has been performed. The proposed approach had
superior features, including easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and
good computational efficiency. In order to assist estimating the performance of the PID
controller using PSO and DE, Minimum Error Integral (MEI) criterion Integral Absolute
Error (IAE), Integral Square Error (ISE), Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) and
Integral Time Square Error (ITSE) are used.

Introduction
The main aim of automatic voltage regulation system is to hold terminal voltage
constant. The characteristics of alternator output required are constant voltage and
constant current. To get the
Enuma Elish
Enuma Elish Mythology is the study of the language used to express experiences with
and understandings of the absolute reality. There are four main functions that make up
and are the foundation of mythology: Each of these functions plays a major role in
categorizing the ideas and characters in their respective groups or section. To name these
four functions there is the Mystical function which is also known as the sacred or
universal function. The next function is the cosmological function or metaphor
(character) function. Then comes the social or profane (personal function) which is one
of the main functions that is involved in the idea of mythology. The last of the four
functions is the pedagogical function or the moral function of... Show more content on

The Enuma Elish explains this creation by using numerous gods to create earth, for
example: Apsu and Tiamat are the water that helps flood the landmass that is later
created into earth. Lahmu and Lahumu are the silt that later is turned into the actual
earth and dirt that individuals walk on. So the story uses the forces of nature and
considers them as gods whereas many people just see rivers and ocean as just water
and nothing else. For the second function, the Cosmological function explains how the
cosmic forces are expressed with actual characters and mythical beings. With the
addition of personal characteristics given this will in fact enable the mystical and
cosmological functions to work together and further become psychological. Not only
do the mystical traits get deeper personality characteristics now but they are closer
relating the geographical creation as well as reflect the cosmological function. In the
first explanation of the mystical a male character represents the fresh river water
present which is Apsu, whose deeper trait is as the first begetter. The silt is projected as
Lahmu who is the male figure and Lahumu who represents the female figure; these two
were created and formed from the first arrivals being Apsu and Tiamat. The third and
final personality portrayed is Tiamat who is the salty/bitter salt water; Tiamat represents
a female figure and is the mother of them all. The metaphors used in the Enuma Elish are

Case Analysis Of Mahindra
Situation Analysis
The Tourism Industry
The tourism industry contributed $136.3 billion to the Gross Domestic Product of
India in 2013 which is around 2% of the GDP and employs almost 8% of the total
employment in India. The industry has been growing at a compounded annual growth
rate (CAGR) of 9.1% since 2007 and is expected to grow at 7 8% per annum during the
period 2013 2023. This growth rate would put India at rank 3 during the next decade. The
Industry is expected to contribute $255.4 billion to India s GDP in 2023. The major
reason for the growth has been the rise in the number of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs)
and a significant increase in the disposable income of Indians. The industry has also been
attracting huge investments, almost worth Rs. 82 Billion in 2014 2016, from the Central

Mahindra intends to offer a new product Adventure Sports Tourism combined with
Vacation Ownership, to a new market younger strata of the population which was not part
of their target market.

Mahindra would be venturing into a new business which would require developing new
competencies and hence would be the most risky growth strategy out of the options
available. They would be require to develop both the product and the market. Given the
risk, the returns would be much higher (if successful) and MHRIL would be able to
achieve a high growth rate of 25%+ which it has experienced in the past.
To achieve the expected revenue targets and we are proposing following key strategy:
Segmentation: The tourism industry in India can be broadly classified into 3 segments
taking purpose as a criterion.
Leisure plans: We are already the market leader in providing holiday membership is this
segment with about 170000 members.
Buisness tours: The market size for this segment is comparitevly low, it is around 22.5%

Hirohito s Japanese Surrender Essay
Hirohito and The Japanese Surrender

The world was hectic in the 20th century. The first plane was flown, World War I took
place (1914 1918), communists took over Russia and China (1917), penicillin was
discovered (1928), the U.S. stock market crashed (1929), and the DNA s structure was
discovered (. However, on the eastern side of the world, the most notable occurrences
were probably Hitler s rise as chancellor and his launching of the Kristallnacht, the
German invasion of Poland, Japan s bombing of Pearl Harbor, and the Holocaust. Further
east, specifically Japan, its 124th Emperor had just inherited his father s place, right
before entering World War II. Throughout Hirohito s years of leadership, he made several

When Hirohito was twenty years old, he was the first Japanese Prince to travel to
Europe. Years later, as an adult, he became Japan s 124th Emperor, succeeding his
father, Emperor Taisho, who died in 1926. His involvement in Japan s development
during his nineteen years of reign was enormous. He invaded Manchuria, to Japan s
benefit (1931), supported the war against China (1937 1945), and during World War
II, formed alliances with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, forming the Rome Berlin
Tokyo Axis. Emperor Hirohito was a man of kind emotions, of good intentions, and
whose interest was always in the benefits of his people. Having agreed to join the
terrorizing war, Japan suffered a great deal. Its economy shattered the country s wealth
dropped drastically, its citizens were losing hope and confidence, and its military
department was in a tough position and was starting to weaken helplessly. Hirohito
decided that the paramount decision he could possibly take was to surrender Japan.
He could no longer bear to see his people suffer and fight in the war, and thus showed
he cared about them by ending their side of the war. As Hirohito spoke about the war
and its effect on his people, he said: I made efforts to swallow tears and to protect the
species of the Japanese nation . He cared deeply about the pain his people were going
through, and made it his foremost priority to end it. When Hirohito began to
