Webalizer Name: Report Title: Ignore History: Enter name for Webalizer. Name must begin with lowercase letter.

Enter the title to use for the reports. This option ignores previous Webalizer analyses. The Webalizer analyzes your web site as if it is being run for the very first time. If you select this option then you must enter to VDS via Telnet as VDS owner and delete the file /www/logs/access_log. Afterwards, you must restart the VDS via Settings tab in Site Management.

GMT Time:

This feature displays timestamps in GMT time. The default displays timestamps in the time zone of the local machine (i.e. PST).

Visit Timeout: Enter the number of seconds after which a user visit times out. In order to prevent the multiple counting of repeat users, the Webalizer will ignore repeat visits within this selected number of seconds.

Graph Lines:

Specify the number of background reference lines to display on the Webalizer graphs. To disable the use of background lines, enter '0'. This option displays color coded legends on the Webalizer graphs.

Graph Legend: Country Graph: Hourly Stats:

This option creates a graph displaying web site usage by country.

This option creates a statistics table displaying web site usage by hours.

Top Agents: Enter the number of agent types to display in the 'Top User Agents' table (Browsers are an example of an agent). Enter the number of countries to display in the 'Top Countries' table.

Enter the number of referrers to display in the 'Top Referrers' table (These are sites that referred users to your site via a link) Enter the number of search strings to display in the 'Top Search Strings' table (This refers to the string users searched for in your sites). Enter the number of your sites to display in the 'Top Sites' table. Enter the number of your sites to display in the 'Top Kbytes Sites Count' table (This refers to the number of Kbytes users downloaded from your sites). Enter the number of your URLs to display in the 'Top URLs' table. Enter the number of your URLs to display in the 'Top URLs by Kbyte' table (This refers to the number of Kbytes users downloaded from your URLs). Enter the number of pages to display in the 'Top Entry Pages' table (The entry page is the page a user arrived at in your site). Enter the number of pages to display in the 'Top Exit Pages' table (The exit page is the last page a user viewed in your site).

Use HTTPS: This option converts the links in the 'Top URLs' table to use the prefix 'HTTPS://'. This replaces the default 'HTTP://' prefix (Useful if you run the Webalizer on secure server logs and you want the links in the table to work properly).

Incremental:

This option processes logs incrementally. The Webalizer can process partial logs without loss of data from previous runs in the same month. Specify which sites to hide in the 'Top Sites' table (They will still be counted in the totals) You may want to hide local machines since they are usually the top hit generators. Enter one per line: *mrunix.net <Site>

Specify which URLs to hide in the 'Top URLs' table (They will still be counted in the totals) You may want to specify graphic files, audio files, or other non-HTML files that are transferred to the visiting user. Enter one per line: *.gif

Hide Referrer: Specify referrers to hide in the 'Top Referrers' table (They will still be counted in the totals) You may want to hide your own server since it is usually the top reference generator. Enter one per line: mrunix.net/

Hide Agent:

Specify user agents to hide in the 'Top User Agents' table (They will still be counted in the totals) Enter one per line: RealPlayer <AgentName> <AgentName>

Group Shading: Group Highlight: Group Site: This option shades group table rows.

This option bolds group table rows.

Specify which sites to group in the 'Top Sites' table (Useful for grouping top level domains or unresolved IP addresses for local dial-ups) Use this format: *.aol.com AOL <Site [GroupLabel]>

Group URL:

Specify which URLs to group in the 'Top URLs' table (Useful for grouping complete directory trees) Use this format: /images/* Images <URL [GroupLabel]>

Group Referrer: Specify which referrers to group in the 'Top Referrers' table (Useful for major search engines with multiple host names) Use this format: yahoo.com/ Yahoo! <Referrer [GroupLabel]<

Group Agent:

Specify user agents to group in the 'Top User Agents' table. Use this format: Mozilla Netscape MSIE Microsoft Internet Explorer <AgentName [GroupLabel]>

Ignore Site: Specify which sites to completely ignore from the statistics. Use this format: bad.site.net <Site> <Site>

Ignore URL:

Specify which URLs to completely ignore from the statistics (Useful for ignoring hits to a directory that is not available externally). Use this format: /test*

Specify which referrers to completely ignore from the statistics. Use this format: file:/* <Referrer> <Referrer>

Ignore Agent:

Specify user agents to completely ignore from the statistics. Use this format: RealPlayer <AgentName> <AgentName>

Force the inclusion of log records based on hostname (Takes precedence over Ignore keywords). Use this format: /test* <site>

Include URL:

Force the inclusion of log records based on URL (Takes precedence over Ignore keywords). Use this format: /test* <URL>

Include Referrer:

Force the inclusion of log records based on referrer (Takes precedence over Ignore keywords). Use this format: mrunix.net <Referrer>

Include Agent:

Force the inclusion of log records based on user agent (Takes precedence over Ignore keywords) Use this format: RealPlayer <AgentName> <AgentName>
