ANNOUNCEMENT
HUNGARIAN GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Ministry is in receipt of communication from the Embassy of Hungary in
Nairobi informing of a call for application to the Scholarship Programme
implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary in collaboration with
Food and Agriculture Authority (FAO) for Academic Year 2024/2025.
The following Master of Science degree course are being offered in English for
2024/2025 Academic year under the programme:
i. Master in Environmental Engineering- Sopron University, Sopron
ii. Master in Crop Production Engineering- Hungarian University of
Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő
iii. Master in Horticulural Engineering-Hungarian University of
Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus, Budapest.
Courses will be offered provided the minimum number of students is reached.

The scholarship will cover:
i. Application and tuition fees throughout the study period with basic
books and notes.
ii. Dormitory accommodation;
iii. Subsistence costs; and
iv. Health insurance
Cost of travel is not covered by the scholarship.

Who can participate: Students holding BSc/MSc or equivalent and other
specific requirements may be applied by campuses
Duration of scholarship: 22 months
Age limit: Candidates under the age of 30 years preferred.
Deadline of application: 29th February, 2024.

iii. A copy of degree certificate
iv. A copy of certificate of proficiency in English
v. A copy of the biodata page of the passport showing the validity and
