Relay-ATM), PPP, Embedded System Applications (Event/Fault Management,
Forwarding Table Distribution, Statistics collection etc), Network Management
(SNMP Api, Mib definition and implementation), Operational Support Systems (OSS)

WORK HISTORY
Component Owner, Juniper Networks, Inc. Bangalore, India
As part of my work related to RSVP, I have become familiar with RFCs (2205/3209/4090) and
BFD. I have gained a valuable insight into the RSVP and related components (MPLS, IGPs
[OSPF/ISIS] and LDP) for today’s MPLS based networks.
In the recent past I have been B-RAS Accounting (Bulk Statistics) Component owner for Junos-e
Platform. (Junos-e is the proprietary OS for Juniper’s ERX/REX Series Routers). Work comprises
of RLI (Features) implementations based on customer requirements or internal proposals. Thusfar,
implemented features: Virtual Router based statistics collection, VLAN bulk-statistics. Presently
working on architectural improvements of bulk statistics component.

ACADEMIC PROJECT
Design and development of Semantic Analyzer for Modula 2, an object oriented
programming language.
The objective is to parse and generate symbol table and verify the semantic and
syntactic correctness of a Modula-2 program. The Project enabled to gain a good
understanding of compilers and Linkers with different parsing techniques and
designing efficient data structures and storage mechanisms.
Education
Master of Technology (Computer Science), University of Poona, Pune, INDIA [1993-95]
