Congratulations! Subsequent to the completion of our assessment process, we are pleased to inform
that you have been selected for admission to the Young Engineers Program (YEP) offered by Slocum
Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.

Please send a confirmation email indicating acceptance of this offer to yep@slocum.co.in in the
enclosed format within 7 working days of receiving the offer of admission.

This offer is provisional subject to verification of the documents and information provided by you in
your Application Form and payments of fee as per scheduled below. The details of this Admission Offer
are as under:

A. Fee Details
The fee for the YEP to be paid is as follows:

B. Securing Admission
You are required to pay the initial fee in person (between 10 AM – 5 PM) or send it

The fee has to be paid only through Demand Draft/NEFT transfer. We would NOT be able to accept
Cash/Credit Card. Please ensure the Drafts /NEFT Transfer reaches us on or before 7 working days of
receiving the offer of admission, If you are sending the fee through courier, Slocum will not be
responsible for any delay/loss in transit.

C. Refund Policy
Please note that any amount paid for enrollment in the YEP or towards the initial fee and program
fees is not refundable in any circumstance.

For the batch starting in January 2014, the admissions will be granted on First-Come-First-Serve
basis

The Company reserves the right to withdraw the admission at any stage in case you do-not
possess the requisite qualification and/or percentage of marks in qualifying degree, supplies any
false information or failed to pay the fee as per the payments schedule above.

D. Leaving the program during training

Please note that if You wish to leave the program during training, you will be liable to pay the
remaining program fee that is due from you to Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, as
penalty. The program fee for YEP is INR 125,000 + applicable taxes.

E. Leaving the program after training

Please note that you will be required to sign a service agreement with Slocum Management
Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited, that mandates that you will

serve the company for a period of 18 months after the training is successfully completed and you
are absorbed as “Associate Graduate Engineer Trainee”. In case you still leave the company, you will
be required to pay INR 125,000 towards service agreement contravention as well as furnish the
remaining training fee on the date of leaving the company.

a part of the YOUNG ENGINEERS PROGRAM (YEP) offered by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
(a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited), declare and affirm as under:

1. I understand that I have been made this offer of admission on the basis that the particulars
furnished by me in my application, resume or any other document are factually correct. If, at any
time before or after the start of the program, it transpires that I have made a false statement (or
have not disclosed a material fact) resulting in my admission into this program, my admission
shall be rendered null and void ab initio and thus liable to be terminated forthwith. I also
understand that in such an event, the full fee deposited by me will be forfeited and will not be
refunded and I will not be considered for any certifications provided by Slocum Management
Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.
2. I have passed my graduation as an Engineer (i.e. B.E/B. Tech etc.) with greater than or equal to
60% marks and I have secured greater than or equal to 60% marks in my class 10 th and 12th
standard final examinations.
3. I understand that the course fee for 9 months YEP is INR 1.25 Lacs (Service Tax extra).
4. I understand that it is a 9 months program which will be conducted at Plot No. CP 3, Sector 8,
Technopark, IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana– 122051.
5. I understand that a laptop would be an essential item required for the successful completion of
the program, and I will arrange for it on my own.
6. I understand that I would be given a maximum of two chances to clear the final examination, to
be declared as a successful candidate from the YEP program and that if I don’t clear the exam
even at my second attempt, I will be declared unsuccessful in the YEP program and that I will not
get employment with Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation
Private Limited.
7. I understand that decision on allocation of specialization tracks will be taken by the Slocum
Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.

8. I understand that Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation
Private Limited. will only sponsor my first attempt at external certification as defined by the
respective tracks (which would be one of either CCNA, Red Hat Certified System Administrator,
Oracle Solaris 10 System Administrator, Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator based on my
track). The cost of any further attempts will not be borne by Slocum Management Consultancy
Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited. And will need to be borne by me.
9. I understand that in case I decide to drop out in the midst of the 9 months of the YEP program,
the fee deposited by me will be forfeited and I will be required to pay the remaining program fee
and I will not be considered for any certifications provided by Slocum Management Consultancy
Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.
10. I understand that Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation
Private Limited. shall be entitled to terminate my training forthwith, without any notice and any
time, in the event of any act of dishonesty, disobedience, insubordination, revealing confidential
material to any other party, misconduct or indiscipline. In this case the full fee deposited by me
will be forfeited and will not be refunded and I will not be considered for any certifications
provided by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private
Limited.
11. I understand that I will be appointed as an Associate Graduate Engineer Trainee in Slocum
Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited. only on
successful completion of the 9 months fully residential YEP program and that I would be offered
an annual CTC of INR 2 Lacs per annum.
12. I understand that I will be paid an amount of INR 7,000 as stipend for the 3 months of On Job
Training.
13. I understand that while I can express my preferences for the work location, the decision taken by
Slocum Management consultancy Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited. in this
regard as per the business needs would be final and binding on me.
14. I understand that I have to sign an 18 months training cum service agreement (worth INR
1,25,000/-) with Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of HCL Corporation
Private Limited. at the time of enrolment into YEP which will be effective after training
completion, from 10th month onwards, with Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd a
subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.
15. I understand that I will be on probation for a period of 15 months post my joining Slocum
Management consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited, as an
employee and only after that, and on the basis of my performance during the 15 months period; I
may be confirmed as Associate Graduate Engineer.
