Pay Schedule
- $25 per delivery up to 20 minutes away
- $5 extra every 5 minutes over 20 minutes (rounded to nearest increment of 5)
- Distance is calculated from your home location or from your current delivery location
if the next delivery is in the same direction.
Duties
- Updating your availability weekly.
- Completing a delivery you have accepted.
- Completing your Friday/Saturday night shift if you choose to be rostered on.
- Keeping all company property including money and stock safe.
- Providing professional customer service when interacting with customers.
Process
1. When a delivery comes up in your area you will be messaged asking if you are available
to travel to the target destination. You are free to accept or decline the delivery based on
your own schedule. We ask that you please let us know your answer as soon as
possible so we can inform the customer.
If you accept the delivery, you will be sent a message from our server that includes:
- Order description and amount
- The price the customer will pay
- The customer payment method (cash/transfer)
- Your pay for the delivery
- The delivery address
2. After receiving this message, you will be connected to the customer through our proxy
number.
You will then reply with an estimated time of arrival to the delivery address. We
advertise that our deliveries are completed within 30 minutes. We understand this
sometimes may not be feasible if already on other deliveries or if the destination is
out of range.
3. When arriving at the delivery address you will message the server number informing
the customer that you have arrived.
- If you do not receive a reply within 2 minutes confirming they know you have
arrived, please message again.
- If the customer still does not reply, please call them.
- If the customer still does not answer calls, let the receptionist know.
- If the customer fails to accept the order, you will still be paid for the delivery.
4. Always accept the customer’s payment before giving them any stock. If the
customer is transferring you will need to check the transfer has gone through
using the following link: www.whipcosydney-order.com/transactions
If you cannot see the customer's payment, ask to see their transaction list on their
phone to check if it is pending. If it is not pending, do not hand over any stock and
contact us instead.
5. Once completed please send a message saying done to end the conversation.
6. When you run out of stock you will meet at Kennards storage in Camperdown to restock
(this will occur every 2-3 weeks).
When restocking you will need to send a picture to us with the stock you are taking as
well as a message letting us know how much stock you currently have. This is used for
reference if your real stock levels do not match the stock levels on your spreadsheet.
You will then also provide any cash from sales minus your pay.
Additional Information
- Only give out balloons to those who ask. We provide 1-2 packs of balloons for free, additional
packs are $5 each.
- Try to keep stock, dispensers and balloons in an accessible location for you in case a
customer asks for additional items on arrival, as you should never be leaving your car.
- Please don't leave stock on the passenger seat in case a customer tries to take it through the
window.
Code of Conduct
The following rules are to maintain safety for our drivers and to adhere to covid safety
standards.
1. Keep your doors locked and don't allow customers into your vehicle.
2. Never leave your vehicle during a delivery.
3. All deliveries are completed through the passenger window, not the driver's window.
4. Always receive cash or confirm the customer's transfer has been completed using the
method outlined below before giving the customer the product.
5. Do not leave company property in reach of the customer when completing a delivery.
6. If you ever feel unsafe during a delivery you are advised to leave immediately, you will still
be paid for the delivery.
Policy
Our nitrous oxide products are only designed to be used as intended by the manufacturer. Any
other usage is not to be encouraged or facilitated by us. Although we do not condone the
misuse of our products, we can not prevent this.
If a customer asks you questions on how to use the product, advise them to research the
manufacturer guidelines.
Termination
You are free to terminate your position whenever you like. Please give us at least 3 days notice
before a rostered shift so we can find another driver. All stock and cash held will need to be
returned and match the values on your spreadsheet.
