INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING OUT THE PGP 2024-26 APPLICATION FORM

Read the following instructions carefully before filling the IIM Visakhapatnam (IIMV) application form.
No further corrections to data obtained/filled in this application form will be entertained after the
submission. Please take adequate care before submitting the application form. The deadline for
submitting the application form is February 29, 2024 (11:00 am).

Most of the details will be retrieved from the CAT application form; however, you are allowed to update
the information such as Gender, SSC aggregate, SSC board, HSC aggregate, HSC board, Graduation
aggregate, Graduation Degree name, and Work experience. The information supplied in this
application form will be utilized for the computation of merit scores. Please ensure that you report
the data in this application form as of December 31, 2023.

Note: All documents must be uploaded (Size - Maximum 1.5 MB and File formats - .jpg, .jpeg, .png,
.pdf, .docx, .doc) and if there are multiple documents to upload in a particular field, candidates should
make a single file including all of those documents to upload in the portal.

1. Primary Information:
Certain details about you (such as name, category, gender, mobile no., email ID, etc.) will be
obtained from the CAT data. You are required to fill-in Annual family Income (by including your
income, if any), which should mention income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business,
profession etc. and it should be the income for the financial year (2023-24). Apart from this,
some other personal details are required to be filled as applicable.

2. Educational Information:
a. SSC & HSC:
i. As per the CAT Registration guide, for computing percentages of marks
obtained in the SSC/10th/Equivalent examination and HSC/12th/Equivalent/
Diploma examination, the total marks of all subjects that appear in the mark
sheet/grade sheet should be considered irrespective of the Boards regulation.

ii. The Aggregate Percentage should be entered as an accurate value, rounded

off to 2 decimals.

iii. While uploading the documents for SSC & HSC, candidates have to merge the
Marksheet, Pass Certificate and any other relevant document as a single pdf.

b. Graduation:
i. Please enter the percentage instead of GPA/CGPA. If your college or university
has a formula for converting CGPA or GPA to a percentage, you should use that
formula instead. If there is no conversion formula, you may need to get a letter
from your institute stating that there is no conversion formula available. In
this case, the equivalence of the CGPA or GPA to a percentage can be
established by dividing the candidate's CGPA or GPA by the maximum possible
CGPA or GPA and multiplying the result by 100. The Aggregate Percentage
should be entered as an accurate value, rounded off to 2 decimals.

For example, if the maximum possible CGPA is 4.0 and the candidate's CGPA is
3.5, the percentage should be calculated as follows: (3.5 / 4.0) * 100 = 87.50%
ii. Those who had completed the Graduation, they can upload either Graduation
Degree Certificate (or) Provisional Degree Certificate (or) Consolidated marks
sheet (or) Course Completion Certificate obtained from their respective
institute.
