Increased traffic volume introduces congestion on road affecting efficiency of road.
Efficiency assessment could be defined as the comparison between current status of
roads in terms of roads capacity, traffic volume, geometric design, etc. and standard of
roads prescribed for well-functioning of roads. After the opening of Rupsha Bridge in
Khulna of Bangladesh, the study road gains some additional trips: the trip previously 5
used Rupsha Ferry terminal and trips from city center people make to visit the Bridge.
The burden of traffics in an urban road result congestion on it and which makes
necessity of studying whether the road is efficient or not to serve all its traffic flow. This
study presents a methodological approach toward measuring efficiency of an urban road
and also depicts when and how such measure might be required for an urban setting. 10
This study conducts traffic volume, geometric design status and problem analysis to
identify the problems making traffic congestion. Datasets of the road, comparing with
the road standards, prove the road as an inefficient road. The authors also discovered
what the vehicle types responsible for such inefficiency are. They suggested with
appropriate reasoning that motorized vehicles required to be eliminated from the road to 15
have efficiency serving the residential trips and additional visitor trips on the road. The
authors concluded by designing an alternative roads for the eliminated motorized
vehicles.

This study explored the pattern of video game usage and video game addiction among
male college students and examined how video game addiction was related to
expectations of college engagement, college grade point average (GPA), and on-campus
drug and alcohol violations. Participants were 477 male, first year students at a liberal
arts college. In the week before the start of classes, participants were given two surveys: 5
one of expected college engagement, and the second of video game usage, including a
measure of video game addiction. Results suggested that video game addiction is (a)
negatively correlated with expected college engagement, (b) negatively correlated with
college GPA, even when controlling for high school GPA, and (c) negatively correlated
with drug and alcohol violations that occurred during the first year in college. Results 10
are discussed in terms of implications for male students' engagement and success in
college, and in terms of the construct validity of video game addiction.

The use of social media in politics including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube has dramatically
changed the way campaigns are run and how Americans interact with their elected officials.
The prevalence of social media in politics has made elected officials and candidates more
accountable and accessible to voters. And the ability to publish content and broadcast it to
millions of people instantaneously allows campaigns to carefully manage their candidates’
images based on rich sets of analytics in real time and at almost no cost.
