among you three men for [each] tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise,

and go through the land, and describe it according to the


inheritance of them; and they shall come [again] to me. And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them
to Jerusalem. For the congregation of hypocrites [shall be] desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. And the LORD said unto him,
Wherewith? And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of
the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name
[shall be] great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and [there were] thirty
and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it. And the king said, What have I to do
with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him];
howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. And he continued [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. And when thou
sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and
out of thy winepress: [of that] wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write
unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was
once delivered unto the saints. In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah. And the shapes of
the locusts [were] like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads [were] as it were crowns like gold, and their faces [were] as the faces
of men. Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee. For if thou wert cut
out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the
natural [branches], be graffed into their own olive tree? He made the pillars thereof [of] silver, the bottom thereof [of] gold, the covering of it
[of] purple, the midst thereof being paved [with] love, for the daughters of Jerusalem. And he said, Peace [be] to you, fear not: your God, and the
God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see [it], and be
ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me. And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the
reapers. Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the land? Then said he
unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but
ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves. [Is it] good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the
work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked? Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him. And when Pharaoh saw
that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants. For all the people wept,
when they heard the words of the law. Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink
no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters; Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor
seed: But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us. When he prepared the heavens, I
[was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by
him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and
my delights [were] with the sons of men. But Saul had given Michal his daughter, David’s wife, to Phalti the son of Laish, which [was] of Gallim.
Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou [shalt be] in safeguard. And thou shalt observe the
feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end. And when he had said these things, he cried, He
that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. I speak as to wise men;
judge ye what I say. But she returned not. O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people? [He is] a merchant,
the balances of deceit [are] in his hand: he loveth to oppress. And I will also take of them for priests [and] for Levites, saith the LORD. 1And the
king hath sent with him Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they
have caused him to ride upon the king’s mule: 1And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up
from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or
brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now
in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. If
we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are
revolted and gone. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able. But God
hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. And the men turned their faces from
thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, [are] they not written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I
will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what
authority I do these things. And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their

mercy on me. Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons
of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers, From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one
that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation: And those that were numbered of them by their families were two
thousand seven hundred and fifty. And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he [is] a murderer: the murderer shall surely be
put to death. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil
work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Blessed [are ye] that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
[that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. And he judged Israel twenty
years. And his concubine, whose name [was] Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah. Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph,
and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself], and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. And it shall come to
pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth [part] unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food,
and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones. Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? Therefore thus saith the LORD
of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem
is profaneness gone forth into all the land. And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of [every] seven years, in the solemnity of the year of
release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read
this law before all Israel in their hearing. And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done. Surely at the
commandment of the LORD came [this] upon Judah, to remove [them] out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also
for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon. Your lamb shall be without
blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the
same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And again they said, Alleluia. For the nation and
kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, [those] nations shall be utterly wasted. And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the
Syrians. Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy
soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out,
[as out] of the middle of a sling. He turned the sea into dry [land]: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him. David also
took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his wives. So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou [art] my God: thy spirit [is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness. And Samuel said unto the people, Fear
not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; And turn ye not aside:
for [then should ye go] after vain [things], which cannot profit nor deliver; for they [are] vain. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you,
but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem. Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the
heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according
to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having
put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to
blaspheme. A sword [is] upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that [are] in the midst of her; and they shall
become as women: a sword [is] upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the
chariot. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the
most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of
righteousness by faith. It shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots
thereof. And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, which brought him again from the well of Sirah: but David knew [it]
not. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make
thine enemies thy footstool? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any [man] deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I
am [Christ]; and shall deceive many. Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise [men] of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto
me the interpretation of the dream. [As for] man, his days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. Seven days shalt thou
prepare every day a goat [for] a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. Fear thou not;
for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right
hand of my righteousness. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. The word of
the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles; Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the
river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. And I
will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry. The fear of the LORD [tendeth]
to life: and [he that hath it] shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made
his defence unto the people. And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet
did see. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will,
but the will of him that sent me. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust
also in much. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. And they could not take hold of his words
before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace. Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift
up myself. The hangings of the one side [of the gate were] fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three. Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven
and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. And Isaac
trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? But I [am] poor and needy; [yet] the Lord thinketh upon me: thou [art] my help and my deliverer; make no
tarrying, O my God. The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? And he shall reckon with him
that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of
years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him. And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man
by whom he is betrayed! And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. Whatsoever soul [it be] that
eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. This [is] the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before
the king. Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of
the world with cities. Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that [were] in the high gate of Benjamin, which [was] by
the house of the LORD. Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and
spread dung upon your faces, [even] the dung of your solemn feasts; and [one] shall take you away with it. For I [am] the LORD: I will speak, and
the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will
perform it, saith the Lord GOD. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? And they drew out the staves [of the ark], that the ends of the
staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
Bread of deceit [is] sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel. Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of
the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them,
Peace [be] unto you. He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. And I will give this people favour in the sight of
the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that
sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put [them] upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye
shall spoil the Egyptians. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning:
let us solace ourselves with loves. And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the
uttermost side of [another] curtain, in the coupling of the second. And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest
me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told [it] me. But when Jesus knew [it], he withdrew himself from
thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; And charged them that they should not make him known: That it might be fulfilled
which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my
spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen,
and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while. A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him
before great men. I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: [there shall be] no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall
fade; and [the things that] I have given them shall pass away from them. Then said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of these words, and thou
shalt not die. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. If he be able to fight
with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us. And
all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and
Hell followed with him. Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD. Watch ye, and keep [them], until ye weigh [them]
before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD. Then
shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour [it] upon his head, and anoint him. The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three. And she
said, I will go. And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest [shall be] chief over the chief of the Levites, [and have] the oversight of them that keep
the charge of the sanctuary. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. This [is] the purpose that
is purposed upon the whole earth: and this [is] the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle [with]
ten curtains [of] fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: [with] cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them. When they saw the
star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city [was] Dinhabah. Behold, the LORD
maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. Wherefore do I see every man
with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins
may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached
unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began. They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not. 1And under the borders [were] four
wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels [were joined] to the base: and the height of a wheel [was] a cubit and half a cubit. All our enemies have
opened their mouths against us. And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto
him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide [it] not from me. And they accompanied him unto the ship. At the time appointed he shall return, and
come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. E wild ass bray when he hath grass? Wherefore he did evil in the sight
of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellers after the death of his father to his destruction. Thus did Zimri destroy all the
house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet, For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of
Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities. And
[there was] a row [of building] round about in them, round about them four, and [it was] made with boiling places under the rows round about. Who
knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every
fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name
thereof. And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice [is] Jacob’s voice, but the hands [are] the hands of Esau.
And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same [is]
Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim; With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king
of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five. David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, [saying], [Is]
not the LORD your God with you? And the sons of Pallu; Eliab. And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth [day] of the
first month. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of
God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from
among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Behold, Damascus is taken away from
[being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of
Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim. What shall we say then? For [it is] better, if the will of God be so,
that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart. Salute
Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. And when all the men of the tower of Shechem heard [that], they entered into an hold of the house of
the god Berith. I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the
Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick
and dancing. And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied
an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the
king of Assyria, and from the hand of all [other], and guided them on every side. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the
water of the well of Bethlehem, that [is] at the gate! And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of
Bethlehem, that [was] by the gate, and took [it], and brought [it] to David: but David would not drink [of] it, but poured it out to the LORD, And
said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? And when they
were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and
stole him [away] while we slept. A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into
the congregation of the LORD. [am] not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? Then said the king to Amasa, Assemble me the men of Judah within
three days, and be thou here present. Now the children of Israel after their number, [to wit], the chief fathers and captains of thousands and
hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months
of the year, of every course [were] twenty and four thousand. For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the
LORD. When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, [and] hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. Because he
hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon [him] as long as I live. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of
the wilderness [there lay] a small round thing, [as] small as the hoar frost on the ground. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the
third time, saying the same words. But Amaziah would not hear; for it [came] of God, that he might deliver them into the hand [of their enemies],
because they sought after the gods of Edom. On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben, [did offer]: His offering
[was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary;
both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering: One golden spoon of ten [shekels], full of incense: One young bullock, one

blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh. And the field of Ephron, which [was]
in Machpelah, which [was] before Mamre, the field, and the cave which [was] therein, and all the trees that [were] in the field, that [were] in all
the borders round about, were made sure Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate

all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to
him that increaseth [that which is] not his! how long? Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy
friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor [thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. And the
