INTRODUCTION
Sandeep Maheshwari premiered on 3-March-
2021, the psychology of self motivation, his 1"
podcast.

Sandeep Maheshwari is a name among millions

who struggled. faced and surged ahead in
search of success, happiness and. Contentment.
Just like any middle class guy, he too had a
bunch of unclear dreams and a blurred vision of
this goals life. All he had was an studying
learning attitude to hold on to. Rowing through
ups and downs, it was time that taught him the
true meaning of life. He premiered podcast on
Youtube channel. Its link is given
below.https://youtu.be/BDDYGOSDTxs.
In this podcast be discusses various steps which
should be taken to remain self motivated and
he discusses the psychology of self motivation.
In this project work we have discussed all the
steps narrated in the podcast. And so I have
also added some more points to support the
topic.
VIEW POINT OF
PODCAST
Self-motivation is the best form of motivation
for oneself, it is an important element which is
required to stimulate the desire in people for
performing and giving their best at their work.
People who are self motivated will always want
to their best and also willing to take various
responsibilities.
But in the podcast it is told that people cannot
come out of their comfort zone. They make a
mind and this setup of mind prevents them
from doing anything different from their
regular routine.
The speaker felt that only thinking about
positive things is not enough, action is equally
important there one many people who keep on
thinking of starting a new venture like doing
exercise daily. They keep up the spirit for few
days but after sometime they give up. The
speaker feels that this is because of lack of self
Motivation.
REPORT ON THE
PSYCHOLOGY OF
SELF MOTIVATION
A comfort zone setup prevents us from
achieving something, we know that gratifying
process prevents us from achieving something.
A change is always a discomfort. I agree with
the speaker.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?
1. PREPARE A BLUEPRINT OF YOUR GOALS :
The speaker believes that it is very
important to plan out our -action
properly. short term goal is very
important and we have to take baby
steps to fulfill our goals. After all, ROME
wasn't built in a day.

2- DEVELOP A STRONG BELIEF SYSTEM :

It is very important to develop a belief system
that "you can do it". If we want to bring
changes, we have to unlearn something and
understand the problem. Accept that you're in
a particular problem.

3 OPEN YOURSELF TO NEW LEARNINGS :

In order to achieve something significant, it
will be possible that there will be a conflict
between your original old self and imaginary
new self and for this we have to open ourself
to new learning. observe yourself as you go
through these changes.
4- FIVE SECOND RULE :
The speakers believes that whenever we are
firm / determined and we start doing some
work, initially for a few days we are able to
work but after sometime we tend to give up.
That's the time to apply five second rule in
your life. In this rule, whenever you feel you’re
podcasting take the action in next 5 second.

5- UNDERSTAND THAT PROBLEM IS THERE :

We have to realise that there is some problem
and we have to understand that what is the
problem and work on how to solve it.

6- ACCEPT CONFLICT :
Whenever we will do something new, we will
always face a conflict between your-self. we
don't have to fear that conflict is there as it
will be always there wherever you want to
change something in yourself . we have to
fight with ourself for accepting the change.

7-TAKE BABY STEPS TO OVERCOME PROBLEM :

If you are facing any problems, to overcome it
you have to take small steps and make new
strategies to come out of it. If you are
successfull at it, good, if not then start again
from beginning. You can consider an example
of an art which wants to climb up the wall but
fall again and again and get up to reach the
destination.
8- ENJOY THE PROCESS OF THIS
TRANSFORMATION :
Evolving from old habits to new ones is a slow
process. external motivation will not last
longer than a week. You need to be self
motivated. Make blueprints, take baby steps,
apply 5 second of whenever you feel Like
give up.

9. SOME OTHER POINTS :

 Observe the changes in mind and body
as a 3rd person.
 Our purpose must be defined, it is not
a step but it is an ultimate goal, it is the
centre point of the wheel (step that you
take).
 Always remember, in comfort zone
there's no growth.
 Start simple, keep learning, know
yourself.
 Those with a fixed mindset believe
that talent is ingrained, and we cannot
change our level of ability. While those
with as growth mindset believe that they
can improve their skills through. hardwork
and effort.
CONCLUSION
To sum up we can conclude that the
psychology of self motivation centers around
our own action on a particular situation. Most
of the people keep on thinking that they are
positively motivated in their mind but they
don't translate their thoughts into action self.
Motivation is one in which a person
understands the problem and translates the
problem by removing the problems through
smaller steps, making a proper plan and
changing the plan into action and executing it
properly by overcoming the conflict in the
mind to bring about a change in the life. There
should be a desire in oneself to improve.
STUDENT
REFLECTIONS
My review for this project is as follows:

* I learnt the deeper meaning of self

motivation and how there are conflicts
between in our old version and new imaginary
version and how we should do positive
thinking particularly without glorifying
ourselves in imaginary world.
* This project gave me a better understanding
of importance of leaving comfort zones.
* While making this project, I realised how
important is it to be self motivated for
achieving our destination. To become self
motivated. one should have strong belief
system, open to new learning, make blueprint
of goals, accept conflicts, take baby steps and
most importantly enjoy this process of
transformation.
