Dream House

Let's move to the center of New York City, quite a populated area with a fast
pace of life. This is my dream apartment. It is small, with a simple design, but cozy
for me.
I will start with the bedroom as it`s one of the main rooms. This is a bright
room with a large panoramic window on the entire wall and a view of the city. The
room is quite small and doesn`t contain much furniture. A big, comfortable bed at
the heart of this room, a lamp near the bed and a large wardrobe near the wall,
because I have quite a lot of clothes. There is also a small soft carpet by the bed. I
actually don't like carpets because they collect dirt and I don't like them in general.
It`s ideal room for me is just to rest; I don`t work in it. When I finish my
work, when I enter the room, I want to get freedom, and relaxation, which could be
given by such a lovely room. Plain and light design offers a comfortable
environment. Besides, a large panoramic window on the entire wall ensure me the
beautiful sunshine all the day, and the wonderful sunrise and sunset.
My living room is a bit basic; I don’t have too many things or accessories in
it. The living room is huge compared to other rooms in the apartment, but
functional and pleasant. The living room is also made in light colors to make the
room fresh and cozy. There are large windows on two of its walls. In my opinion,
it makes the room even bigger and the views of the skyscrapers are incredible,
especially at night.
In my dream living room, I placed the following: large sitting space. It has a
huge sitting area which means I can comfortably adjust many guests or friends. In
front of the sofa is a small coffee table, it`s made of wood. On the coffee table
there is a vase with flowers that adds organic accents. In addition, there is book
shelf at the living room with a lot of books, and board games. My parents instilled
my love for books. We always read something together or played board games, it
brought us very close.
My day most likely starts with a cup of coffee made in the kitchen. This is
my kitchen, I believe that every day should begin and end in a space that’s
tastefully designed and perfectly crafted. In addition, the small size of the kitchen
is easy to use. The hob, the fridge and the sink are close to each other that adding
convenience to my daily cooking. White cabinets with the addition of a wooden
appearance look modern. A medium-size table - which is also the dining room -
invites my friends and family members to linger and relax over a meal.
In my opinion, my kitchen is fully furnished and I pride of having a
functional kitchen in which I can feel comfortable.
I don’t like cooking a lot, but I do it and sometimes it helps me reset my
brain. They say that when you do something with your hands, your brain rests. I`m
sure it makes sense.
My bathroom is big enough. The walls of it are covered with light-colored

tiles and there are dark tiles on the floor. In the center of the room there is a
bathtub. A shower is attached above the bathtub. Next to the tub there is a basin
with a mirror where I wash my face and hands and brush my teeth. Under the basin
there is a small cabinet. There I keep my cosmetics for care. I love my bathroom,
it`s modern and well-equipped. I feel relaxed in it because it`s big enough, has only
one window, and is very quiet. It also makes me feel refreshed.
The balcony is my favorite corner of house from where can see the busy city
life and skyscrapers. It's wide, open-air and practicable.
Here you can find a small table and two soft chairs with pillows, which
looks comfortable and casual. Light furniture makes a space seem larger.
A little gardening effort makes it so beautiful. Plants add a kind of charm
and decorate the space.
This is a place where I spend lots of time like having my coffee or tea time
and chill out if felt bored or even work with my computer.
Why I chose NYC apartment for this project? Because, it was a childhood
dream. I would like to live in a big city because it is convenient, there are many
opportunities every day and it is an interesting place to spend time.
