4. Happy ending leads to satisfaction so make every ending happy.
Exact Answer. –

All is well that ends well.

(1st Para)
The idea – ‘All is well that ends well’ means that no matter how one arrived at a certain
outcome, if that outcome is a good one, everything is alright. No matter how many challenges
were faced in order to achieve a goal, if that goal has been achieved and is a good one, the
whole process is justified. The idea is based on the principle that if a good result is achieved,
it does not matter what was done in order to achieve that result.

(2nd Para)
Any one can feel ‘all’s well that ends well.’ A person passes an exam after plenty of very thing
and long studying. For him or her ‘all’s well that ends well”. Someone marries the love of their
life after years of separation and challenges. He or she can say ‘all’s well that ends well’. Old
friends reconcile after an argument, and the preceding argument is forgotten as a result of
the reconciliation. Here ‘all’s well that ends well.’ One of the robbers had a change of heart
and helped the police to catch the culprit. SO, all’s well that ends well.

(3rd Para- If you don’t find any personal experience, you can skip this paragraph)

I had studied hard during the whole year when I was in the tenth standard. But before exam,
unfortunately, I faced an accident. So, I couldn’t concentrate on my study. Despite this, after
the exam when the result came, I was the topper in the class. So, I felt that time that- “all’s
well that ends well.”

(4th Para)
This proverb helps us to think positively. If we are in the midst of a challenging time,
remembering this proverb can motivate us to keep going towards the happy ending.

(5th Para)

My opinion here is that well begun is just half done. But to complete it in happy note is the
real win. Its all about the finishing touch which makes us happy. Patience and perseverance
are always counted so be ready for it. Happy ending leads to satisfaction so make every ending
happy. It’s the real – All’s well that ends well.

been CCed

Subject – Insanitary condition of the city streets.

Respected sir,
I shall be much obliged if you allow me a little space in your esteemed paper to draw
the attention of the authorities to the insanitary condition of our City Streets. Even though
we have a Municipal Corporation, no steps have yet been taken by the Municipal authorities
to improve the sanitation of the un-healthy streets in the city. Nearly all the drains are blocked
with rubbish and the filthy water is not allowed to flow causing foul smell. They have become
breeding canters of mosquitoes and other contagious disease germs.

I would like to suggest that the streets should be provided with more drains and the
existing ones properly covered and cleaned. Some more dustbins are to be provided and
placed in different parts so that the people may be stopped from throwing the waste on the
streets, there should be daily cleaning of the roads.
Hoping my suggestions will be taken up and acted on.

I remain,

Yours truly,
XYZ

Junk – food versus Home-made-food

AS you know in our Indian culture, food is called Anna Purnbrahma, it means
food is God. Further, keeping aside this Indian mythological interpretation, I consider quality food is
essential for good health and sound mind.

Truly speaking we are not rather aware of what we eat. Just I found a group of
teenagers carelessly devouring the fast-food items at nearest fast-food joint. I saw the pleasing faces of
those boys and girls while they were totally engrossed in the act of gulping served food stuffs. No doubt,
these fast-food items are mouth- watering and bit tasty but…. do they have the same native taste and
feelings of home-made-food items? The answer is Nooooo!

Even though the home-made-food items are colourless and less attractive,
they are prepared with full love and emotions. They contain natural aromatic flavour especially added by
mother’s hands. So, such food items are not only healthier but really therapeutic to our taste-buds. The
ready to eat food stuffs are garnished in such a way that it attracts our eyes and appeals our hearts. As a
result, we can not control our hearts to fall victims of such dangerous food-stuffs.

In addition, fast foods are prepared from the by-products of preservatives

which are harmful for our heart, lung and kidneys. They are also harmful for our thoughts as they make us
heated and arrogant. On the contrary, the home-made-food items are organic and full of nutrition. They do
not go through any artificial processing and neither consist of chemical additives. So, they are the right
choice to keep good health and increase vigour and vitality with cool and civilized thought process.

So, do prefer the home-made food as your regular diet.

5. SPEECH WRITING

Speech Writing: Speech writing is a way of sharing your thoughts with an audience through
words. The purpose of a speech is to engage people and convince them to think or act along
With you.

Parts of Speech
The Opening:

The best start is to create an opening line that states your intention. Use a question or a
shocking statistic or a start or a couplet to begin your speech.

The Middle:

The middle is where you get into the swing of your argument. You should include a series of
reasons and arguments for why the audience should agree with you. Make use of a few logical
points and structure them in a sequence to reach the conclusion.

The End:

You want the audience to leave remembering your message. The end of the speech is usually
the most memorable part of your whole speech.
You could end with a recap of the most important points, link all your speech together or end
with a call to action.

Hints for writing a good speech:

1. A speech should be informative.
2. Use easy and clear language.
3. Use rhetorical questions. Use direct address to the audience using words like
‘friends!’, ‘DO you agree?’
4. Use slogans, quotations of great persons and statistics for creating impact.
5. Illustrate, repeat few words and narrate relatable situations.
6. Avoid long sentences.
7. Be specific and provide a concrete plan of action.
8. At the end don’t just summarize. Make a powerful stirring statement that will leave
the audience thinking.

Write a speech on Teacher’s Day.

Speech on Teacher’s Day,

5th September.
Good morning to one and all and my greetings to all my respected teachers. Honourable chairperson,
the Principal of our college, Mr./Mrs ………..., respected teachers and my dear friends. Today is an
auspicious occasion to honour and acknowledge the contributions and hard work of teachers who
mould the students into the future citizens. Guru Purnima is also celebrated to express our gratitude
towards our Gurus.
Friends! Can you tell why 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day? Yes, it is celebrated
throughout the country since the year 1962 on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan,
the second President of free India. He was born on 5th September 1888 at Tiruttani, in Tamil Nadu
State. He was a great philosopher, educationist and a teacher by profession. When he became the
second President of India, few of his students requested him to let them to celebrate his birthday on
5th September. On this request, he asked them to celebrate his birthday as Teacher’s Day and not just
as birthday. Ever since this day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day every year.

Our education begins at home. Mother is our prime teacher. As we grow and meet different people,
we learn many things from them. Everyone around us teaches us something. Experiences and mistakes
are also our great teachers.

In olden times, there was Gurukul System of teaching where the students left their homes to stay
with the sages in the forest for years. It was called Bramhacharyashram (one of the four ashrams)
After completing the training, the students returned homes. Those sages were worshipped and
honoured by the students and their parents like God. Since then a teacher is placed next to God. That’s
why it is said,

Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu,

Gurur Dev, Maheshwara.
Gurur Sakshat, Parbramha.
Tasmai Sri Guruve Namaha.

It means Guru is the Lord himself. Gurus/ teachers are next to God.So, Gurus are worshipped on
Guru Pournima.
Teachers are our second parents because they take care of us as parents. They show us right path
as the beacon light. They are like candles who spend their whole life in giving light to the students.
They are always with us whenever we are in trouble whether it is academic or personal. They are the
nation builders. They guide and shape the destiny of students. Teachers teach us to become better
human beings. Sometimes, teachers scold us but there is their love and affection towards us behind
their scolding. They scold us for our betterment. Teacher is the profession that creates all the
professions like doctor, engineer, advocate, Chartered accountant and so on.

Teachers like Dr. Radhakrishnan, Sane Guruji and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam are some of the renowned
names that have given meaning to the world of teachers. In mythology we find many examples of
Gurus and disciples such as Dronacharya and Eklavya, Sandipani and Shrikrishna etc. Eklavya is known
as an ideal student. When Guru Dronacharya refused to teach archery to Eklavya because he was
Shudra, (because Shudra was considered as the lowest category in the society at that time.) Eklavya
built the mud idol /statue of Dronacharya and practised archery before it and became the skilled
archer equalled to Arjun.

On seeing the skill of Eklavya in archery, Guru Dronacharya was astonished. He asked for Eklavya’s
right thumb as Guru Dakshina because he didn’t want Eklavya to excel/exceed/surpass Arjun. And
without thinking so much, Eklavya cut off his right thumb and put it at the feet of his Guru. It shows
his reverence/honour/respect towards his Guru. Eklavya still continued to practise archery with the
forefingers and middle fingers and remains as an example of an ideal student till today. We should
also keep Eklavya as a role model before us and gain the knowledge. We should concentrate on our
target like Eklavya.
Today, we are living in the age of science and technology. We learn many things through various
apps. We get vast knowledge through internet but as per my opinion, no one can replace the teachers
because teachers not only give us knowledge but also shape our personality by teaching many moral
lessons. Apart from academic, they stand by us at every step to guide, motivate and inspire us to
become good citizens.

We are proud to say that we are being cultivated by the finest gardeners. We pray for their well
beings and good health. I would like to express my gratitude towards all teachers for their selfless and
dynamic support. We are always grateful to you. I conclude my speech by wishing you.
Happy Teacher’s Day.
Thank you.

suitable title.

Dog ——- man’s most loyal friend —– devoted to his master —– at all times —– loves and guards his master
—— loyal even in death.

In this selfish world, man has one friend who is totally unselfish. That is his dog. He is never ungrateful. He
never leaves his master.
A man’s dog is loyal to him in wealth and property, in health and sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground
when the winter is severe. His only wish is to be with his master. Even when his master has no food to offer,
the dog licks his hand. He guards the sleep of his master as though he were a prince.
When all other friends desert his master, he remains. He is as steady in his love as the sun in his journey
through the Heavens. Even if the master becomes friendless and homeless, the faithful dog remains true to
him. He guards his master against dangers and fights against his enemies.
Even when the master dies and his body is buried in the cold ground, the dog does not leave him. He stays by
the grave side, his head between his paws and his eyes sad. But he is always alert and watchful, faithful and
true even in death.

 Answer:
 Man’s Best Friend
The dog is an unselfish, faithful, and loving friend of man. He follows his master whether he
is rich or poor, healthy or sick. A man may lose his fame, money or friends, but never his dog.

Q. Write a summary of the following passage with the help of the given points/hints. Suggest a

Govt. of India promoting medical tourism….. Side effects of the medical tourism – Response of the Indian
population Prospects of medical tourism in India.

The government of India is encouraging medical tourism in the country by offering tax benefits and
export incentives to the participating hospitals. Medical visas are being cleared quickly without any hassles.
With a view to facilitating the growth of medical tourism industry, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
along with the Ministry of Tourism has set up a task force to evaluate the opportunities in the industry.
Efforts are being made to standardise procedures and to guide foreign patients to select the hospitals most
suited to their needs. Meanwhile, several private hospitals are seeking to take advantage of the booming
medical tourism industry and are investing hugely in acquiring equipment and skills.
However, medical tourism carries some risks that locally provided medical care does not. Some countries like
India, Malaysia and Thailand have very different infectious diseases rarely found in Europe and North
America. Exposure to diseases without having built-up natural immunity can be a hazard for weak individuals
specially with respect to gastrointestinal diseases like Hepatitis A, amoebic dysentery etc., which could slow
down the recovery process. Also, medical tourists may be at risk from mosquito-transmitted diseases,
influenza and tuberculosis. The quality of post- operative care can also vary dramatically depending on the
hospital and the country. Finally, after returning home, a patient has a limited contact with their surgeon.
This may make it difficult to deal with any complications that may arise later, such as a delayed
infection.
The concept of medical tourism raises some important questions regarding accessibility, affordability and
ethics in medical care. It is unfortunate that a large section of the Indian population has little or no access to
private health care. Public health care system is inadequate and lacks proper infrastructure and facilities. One
wonders if it is sensible to make provisions for medical tourism in a democratic country like India, which has
failed to provide nourishment, sanitation and health care to its masses.

 Answer-
 Medical Tourism
The government of India offers tax benefits, export incentives and hassles free visas for
encouraging medical tourism. Ministry of Health and Ministry of tourism finding the
opportunities in this field. Standard procedures and guidance are given to foreign patients to
select suitable hospitals. Several private hospitals investing hugely to seek advantage of this
opportunity. Medical tourism can also create risks of affecting with rare infectious diseases
and mosquito transmitted diseases. Limited contact with the foreign surgeons may create
difficulties to patients. Most of the Indians have unavailability of private health care. Public
health care system is not proper in India. So, it is hard to say that medical tourism is sensible
to India.
