Introduction

Good morning, everyone. Today we are going to talk about “the different styles of learning and how to
find our own styles.

Have you guys ever worried about your studies? No matter how hard you try, you still can’t learn well. If
you worry about it maybe your learning method not suit your learning style.

Everyone has different learning style that make their learning go a long way. So, let’s see how many
learning style.

The first style is

Visual learning style, this learning style focuses on using images to learn. Visual learners absorb and
remember new knowledge best through sight. They mostly enjoy studying through visual aids such as
pictures, charts, maps, and diagrams.

The next style is

Auditory learning style, The auditory learning style focuses on sound and speech. Auditory learners
absorb new knowledge best by listening, repeat the information by discussing, They mostly enjoy
studying by sound such as, lectures, group discussion, or sound recordings

The third one is

Reading and writing learning style


The reading and writing learning styles focuses on reading and writing. Reading and writing learners
absorb knowledge best when reading or writing information to improves their understanding and
memory. This type of learner mostly enjoy studying on traditional learning methods, such as reading
textbooks and taking notes.

Kinesthetic learning style

Kinesthetic learning style focuses on direct experience. Kinesthetic learners absorb new knowledge best
on activities and enjoy being active. This type of learners mostly enjoy moving around or feeling tactile
sensations while learning helps them remember it better.

Now Do you guys think what your style of study is? if you don’t know, I have some questions to ask you.
These questions can make you aware of your learning style. You can listen the question and choose one
of answer selection.

The first question is:

 What the most do you like to do to relax?


 What kind of book would you like to read for fun?
 When you are not sure how to spell word, what are your most likely to do?
 What’s the best way for you to study for a test?
 What do you find most distracting when you are trying to study?
Ok, if you finish all of my questions let’s see Which learning style do you identify with the most? Is your
three of five of your answer is which one it may be it is your learning style

Let’s start with the first group of answer

 Watching something
 Book with lots of picture in it
 Think it out in the form of a picture in your mind
 To review the lesson into pictures or charts
 People walking past you

If three of your answer is here it mean you may a visual learner

The next group of answer is

 Listen to music or talking with people


 don't prefer any kind of book
 Spell it out loud to see if it sounds right
 have someone ask you questions that you can answer out loud
 loud noises

If three of your answer is here it mean you may a auditory learner

The third group of answer is

 Reading some kind of books


 A book with lots of words in it
 Write it down to see if it’s look right
 Reading book and take short notes
 People walking past you

If three of your answer is here it mean you may a reading and writing learner

The last group of answer is

 Exercise
 A book with words searches or crossword puzzles
 Spelling with your feeling or similarity from your hands
 Makeup index cards or flashcards that you can review
 You’re being uncomfortable because of the temperature or your sitting

If three of your answer is here it mean you may a Kinesthetic learner

When you know which styles of learning suite to you. It easy to find a study method effective to you,
“Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of an effort of intelligence.” So, make sure to
choose the right of learning styles for yourself wisely to make you encounter quality learning. Thank you.
