Competency being This activity aims to engage the teachers in a seminar where
Developed professional growth and development is addressed where gender
inclusivity is highlighted in order to perform functions relative work
ethics and professional relations.
Rationale and Aside from the instructional functions of the teachers in the school,
Description it is also geared towards providing developmental and professional
activities for teachers as it will provide them avenues to further
learning in their respective fields. Further, teachers as the main
implements of the dynamic curriculum need to be abreast with the
changes in the system which also addresses the inclusivity of all
matters concerning both sexes.

With this, there is a need to involve teachers in developmental


activities to help foster equality among genders. In the activity,
there shall be no discrimination based on age, sexual orientation,
gender identity, civil status, disability, religion, ethnicity, social
status, income, class, political affiliation or other similar
factors/personal circumstances.

Furthermore, this can ignite a more inclusive outlook for teachers


to develop self-confidence and social skill, and eventually career
growth and development.

II. TERMINAL AND Terminal Objective:

OBJECTIVES This seminar aims to promote gender inclusivity and Development
among teachers.

Enabling Objectives:

At the end of the program, participants are expected to:

1. Explain and communicate the concept of gender inclusivity


and development:
2. Share experiences of fostering for a gender-sensitive
environment: and
3. Perform activities showing gender inclusivity.
III.  Firstly, participants will be reminded from time to time to

each day of the seminar.
 There shall be lecture discussions to be given by different
speakers.
 In the course of the seminar, workshop/group activities shall

the parts of the seminar.
