international and interdisciplinary context. It includes the
study, research, and practice of medicine with focus and
emphasis on improving health and health care equity for
populations worldwide.

What is global health initiative? Anyone?


Global Health Initiatives (GHIs) – is a term used to
refer to organizations that integrate the efforts of
stakeholders around the world to mobilize and disburse
funds to address health challenges, and do so by
supporting the implementation of health programmes in
low-and-middle-income countries.

Why is Global health initiative established?

Global health initiatives were established with a strong


sense of purpose and great ambition. It improves lives of
people around the globe by providing high quality
healthcare in collaboration with local partners to
strengthen health systems
especially in developing countries. These initiatives are
needed for the global community to work together in
facilitating the most important goal - to save lives and
improve health outcomes.

Here are some examples of the most important global


health initiatives that are shaping the current health
condition in our world.
