    About the Workshop

    The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is


    committed to support the Small and Medium Practices to
    enhance their skill set.

    With this idea in mind, SMP Committee of ICAP has planned a


    four days training, titled, “Audit skills enhancement series” at ICAP
    House Islamabad on June 21 & June 22 and July 12 & July 13,
    2023. In coming months we will hold similar trainings at Karachi as
    well. This is the second such training after earlier at ICAP Lahore.

    This training will be focused on various concepts of external audit


    from client acceptance till the conclusion & reporting stage. The
    core idea is to reinforce and refresh the key concepts/ stages of
    external audit of SMP partners, qualified/ part qualified staff of
    SMPs’ and also for any other members including those who wish
    to start practice. We have requested a distinguished panel of
    speakers who are experts in this field. In the course of four days,
    these speakers will impart knowledge and share their practical
    experiences as well. The mode of delivery of this training would
    be through presentations, discussion sessions and case study
    scenarios.

    This training can also be attended by members and staff of


    practicing firms from Peshawar at ICAP Peshawar office through
    Video Conferencing facility.

    A certificate of participation would be given to attendees of the


    training. CPD credit of 32 hours of learning would be awarded to
    participants.
