These days you can do any job you want. From flying planes as a pilot to typing letters as a
secretary, the choice is yours!
What are you like?
Are you funny or serious, strong or weak? Your character must suit the job you choose. For
example, you can’t be a good nurse if you’re rude and noisy, right? But you can be a teacher if
you are polite and like working with children.
What do you like?
What is your favourite hobby? What do you really enjoy doing? Answering these questions can
also help you choose your ideal job. Don’t do a job only because it pays good money. Do it
because you love it! Then you can do it really well.
What do the people you know do?
Ask your parents questions about their jobs. What they tell you can help you decide what to do.
You can also talk to different people who work in your area for information.
Of course, your ideal job needs to make you happy and proud of your work.
