5.1 Extinguishing media: Use foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical.

5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Highly flammable. Container may
explode if heated. Vapor form explosive mixtures with air. The water used in fire fighting can
cause pollution. It can produce carbon monoxide (CO) in case of fire. Avoid runoff to sewerage it
may create fire or explosion. This liquid is lighter than water.

adequate ventilation. Wear personal protective equipment. See also section 8 Avoid contact with
skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe dust. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and
sources of ignition. Avoid dust formation. Do not smoke.
Only qualified personnel equipped with suitable protective equipment may intervene.

6.2 Environmental precautions: In case of a leak, stop the leak if it can be done safely. Prevent
the access to water courses.

6.3 Methods and materials for containment and clean up: Contain product with sand, clay.
Using sand and clay to absorb the liquid waste. Do not flush the product into sewers but in a
place authorized by law.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

7.1 Precautions for safe handling: Chemicals products should only be handled by trained
people. Conduct training of personnel involved, according to procedures and standards. Make
appropriate signage in the area, about the dangers of the product. Use protective equipment
indicated (section 8). Avoid massive exposure to the product. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Do
not smoke. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not use contact lenses. In any
operation with the possibility of heating or volatilization, there must be adequate ventilation.
Strictly follow the operating procedures and safety when working with chemicals.

7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: The locations for storage
should be reserved exclusively for this purpose. Store in lease covered, dry, ventilated area away

from ignition sources with dike containment system for firefighting system to capture and treat
vapors. Signaling the dangers of the product. Do not store with oxidizing agents and not leave in
the sun. Store in a tightly closed container, preferably of the same material as the original.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL / PERSONAL PROTECTION

8.1 Control parameters: 0.2 mg / m³ on average per shift of 8 hours to the total fraction of
benzene soluble particles including dust, smoke and fog. (OSHA-PEL).

8.2 Engineering measures: To reduce the possibility of potential health risk, it must be ensured
that there is sufficient ventilation or local exhaust to control the ambient concentration to low
levels.

8.3 Personal protective equipment

- Eye protection: Safety glasses for chemicals

- Body protection: Wear protective clothing to prevent skin contact. A face-shield should be
used. Gloves and safety footwear.
