Assignment – Predictions]

Abigail: Hello! How have you been in these past few weeks?

Jhon: Very well, thank you. These weeks, we are almost done with the last academic tasks of
the university, and only the exams remain.

Abigail: You're right, with those exams, the university will come to an end, and the holidays will
begin.

Jhon: Now that the pandemic has ended, do you think life will return to how it was before?

Abigail: Definitely not, this pandemic has affected many, some more than others in different
aspects like psychological or economic.

Jhon: I believe there will be more caution when dealing with illnesses because people will
maintain a certain fear.

Abigail: There will probably be people who continue to wear masks and maintain distance in
crowded places.

Jhon: Yes, this pandemic has certainly changed the way many people around the world think,
and there will probably be more restrictions in crowded places.

Abigail: For now, everything seems to be returning to normal. Do you think there will be
another pandemic like COVID-19?

Jhon: Honestly, I don't know. There will probably be a pandemic worse than COVID-19, but if
we are not prepared, the mortality rates this time will be worse than in the previous pandemic.

Abigail: You're absolutely right, Jhon. It's been a pleasure talking to you. We'll talk later.
Goodbye.
