Back-to-Back Drawing

Communication Activity
This activity is designed to challenge participants to communicate
effectively and creatively. The goal of this exercise is to improve
communication skills while having fun.

Exercise Instructions

Allow 10-15 minutes for this stage of the activity....

Divide the group into pairs and have them sit facing
1 away from each other.

Provide one member of the pair (the "listener") with a blank

piece of paper and a pencil, and the other member (the
2
"speaker") with an image from pages 2-5

The speaker should verbally describe the image as accurately as

possible, while the listener tries to draw the image on their blank
3
paper, without any communication between the two.

After the exercise, both the speaker and the listener answer
4 their respective discussion questions on page 6.

Speaker and listener share and discuss their responses. Together,

5 explore takeaways from the experience.
Kudos!
