    ELON MUSK

    Elon Musk was born in 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. He is very much interested in computer
    programming. He displayed a great curiosity and liking for technology from a young age. After his school
    education, he immigrated to Canada and got a dual bachelor’s degree in physics and economics from the
    University of Pennsylvania.

    In 1995 Musk founded zip 2, a company that provided maps and business directories for newspapers. Later
    zip 2 was bought by a computer manufacturer company named Compaq. Later Musk started an online financial
    services company, X.com, which later became PayPal. It is specialized in transferring money online. Then e-bay
    company bought PayPal in 2002.

    Then Musk founded SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.) to make more affordable rockets
    under his leadership. SpaceX accomplished many historic milestones. It launched Falcon 1 in 2008, Falcon 9 in
    2010. These rockets were designed to reduce the travel costs to the space. ‘The Star-ship spacecraft’, which is
    the Musk’s most ambitious project, designed for interplanetary travel.

    Later Musk became Chairman and CEO of Tesla motors. His aim is to create a sustainable energy
    ecosystem, which causes the least damage to the environment. He introduced the world’s first high-performance
    electric car. Musk played an important role in shaping its designs and technologies. Tesla’s journey was
    completely full of challenges. His company faced many financial production problems. But at last, the company’s
    growth was sustained by his ability and financial encouragement to the company. As a result, he has become an
    undoubted leader in the automotive industry.

    Musk founded the Boring Company to develop underground transportation tunnels to solve urban traffic
    congestion problems. Hyperloop a high-speed transportation concept, proposed by Musk could revolutionise
    long distance travel. The idea has inspired a number of start-ups and projects to make the hyper loop a reality. In
    2016, Musk co-founded a nanotechnology start-up named ‘Neuralink’. This is to integrate human brain with
    artificial intelligence through certain devices to treat neurological disorders. This project is still in development.

    Elon Musk started his journey as a young entrepreneur in South Africa and has become a multi billionaire
    Tech-Mogul. This is a testament to his vision, innovation and determination. His hands-on approach from
    engineering to design has set him apart as a leader. Today his ideas often drive conversation and influence the
    market. Musk’s unwavering commitment to innovation continues to shape the future.
