There is nothing as interesting to Godwill as travelling to his home village in Kibuku
district during holidays. He studies at Dawn Prime Academy in Iganga. During the
holidays, he often travels to the village because he has his father’s farm animals to take
care of.
On the way, Godwill enjoys eating several kinds of food such as sweet bananas,
cassava, Gonja, chicken and meat. He prefers Muchomo (roasted meat) to all other
kinds, accompanying it with soda or water. One day, he bought meat at Nakalama
Trading Centre as usual and started enjoying. No sooner had he finished eating the
delicious meat than he got stomachache. The stomachache went on increasing as time
went by forcing him to ask the conductor to stop the bus in order to ease himself.

The boy realized later that he had got diarrhoea which made him off board the bus
from every trading centre so that he could ease himself. The trading centres where he
off boarded included Nawangisa, Busembatia, Matyama, Bukonte and Tirinyi. The
driver, as well as the passengers, started quarelling because he made them delay on
the way. Reaching home in Namawondo, before greeting the parents, he ran straight
away to the latrine to ease himself.
