Rules and Regulations for Luminance 2024 / Code of Conduct

1) Students should adhere to a specified dress code or theme for the


event. Clothing should be appropriate, modest, and in good taste.
avoidance of revealing or offensive attire is essential. Students in decent
formal attire will only be allowed to enter the campus.

2) Students should arrive on time by 2:45 pm. Registration desk will


function till 4:00 PM. The main gate will remain closed during the
program. If any student leaves the campus for whatsoever reason,
he/she will not be allowed to re-enter the campus.

3) After entering the parking lot, students are not permitted to sit in their
cars. If they are caught sitting with companions in the car, they will be
fined Rs 5,000 per head and will face additional consequences
under disciplinary action.

4) Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or any alcoholic drugs is strictly


prohibited on Annual Day. Any students under the influence of alcohol
will be denied entry or asked to leave the premises. Any student found
consuming or possessing alcohol during the event will face immediate
disciplinary action. Security personnel will be stationed at entry points to
enforce the prohibition of alcohol on the college premises. Vehicles,
bags and belongings will be subject to inspection to ensure compliance.

5) Respectful and courteous behavior towards teachers, staff, fellow


students, and guests is expected at all times.

6) Disruptive behavior, including talking loudly, using electronic devices


during performances, or causing disturbances, is not tolerated. Students
should maintain decorum and follow instructions from event organizers,
discipline committee members and faculty members.

7) Students should be mindful of safety regulations and precautions on


the Annual day.
8) Valid reasons for absence should be communicated to the Director,
in advance.

9) Students should maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dressing rooms,


backstage areas, auditorium and other event venues. Proper disposal of
waste and adherence to cleanliness standards are essential. Littering is
strictly prohibited.

10) Students should respect college property, including stage equipment,


costumes, and props.

Any damage or misuse of property will result in disciplinary.

11) Students are expected to adhere to all college policies and


regulations during the annual day event, including those related to
conduct, discipline, and integrity.

These rules and regulations aim to ensure the smooth and successful
execution of the annual day event while fostering a positive and respectful
environment for all participants.
