“What yucky feeling is it, do you think, sweetie?” said Daddy. “Is it a pain or are you just hungry?” Sammy had been having lots of fun playing with Terry, Betty and Milly all day. He had not stopped to eat his lunch. “I think maybe you are hungry,” said Daddy. “The key is to eat peas and cheese and drink some tea.” Sammy ate the peas and cheese and drank the tea. Then he felt very happy. “My yucky feeling is gone now. Can I please have some bread with sweet berry jam and cream for a treat?” When Sammy was finished eating, he hopped like a bunny to meet his three friends in the valley. He could see them by a tree. They were very happy to see him. “We need to put our feet in this stream,” said Betty. She was feeling hot. “Yes!” agreed Terry, “and I will read us this story. It is called The Messy Donkey.” It was a funny, happy day!
