Community Service Project (CSP)

1. Anemia Disease:
In our society people are suffering with anemia, mainly the with the age group of 15-20
years. Iron deficiency is called “anemia” has been the main cause of health burden in India
for many years, based on a review of previous Global Burden of Disease (GBD) surveys.
Poverty, Caste issues, and poor sanitation are the principal reason for anemia in India. Cause
of anemia is not having sufficient iron in the body. The body needs iron to make hemoglobin.
Scope of CSP:
i. To make aware about anemia in our society by conducting blood test for a sample
size in a village/group of people.
ii. And also preparing questionnaire by consulting the doctor.
iii. With the samples and survey from questionaire we can identify the observations and
draw some conclusions.
iv. After that give awareness to the people about anemia and how to overcome it.
2. Kidney Diseases:
Now a day’s kidney diseases are more common in most of the people. Kidney disease
remains a huge burden on the society and it is estimated that about 10% of the adult
population has some form of kidney disease and 2,00,000 people get afflicted with severe
kidney disease (end stage kidney disease) every year and very unfortunately over 90% of
them die due to lack of awareness.
Scope of CSP:
i. Identify the area/region were people are suffering kidney diseases.
ii. Preparing questionnaire by consulting the doctor.
iii. Asking or collecting answers for the questionnaire by meeting the people.
iv. Identify and drawing conclusion from the survey reports.
v. Conclusions are useful for health department and government to take necessary
actions in these areas.
3. Digital Frauds:
In day-to-day life usage of money transactions through online mode increases. So, the
chances of getting cheated by the frauds increases. Due to this we need to create awareness
among the people to make transactions very carefully. And also, see how you can help
empower older adults to spot and avoid scams and fraud so they can protect themselves and
their families from financial harm.
Scope of CSP:
i. Conducting surveys in society with sample size about usage of digital apps like
Paytm, Google Pay, Internet banking, Credit and Debit Cards etc.
ii. Questionnaire is prepared first and based on usage of apps and frauds experienced by
people.
iii. Identify the people for the survey who are affected, from that draw the conclusions
how people are cheated by the digital frauds.

4. Disabilities: "Person with disability" means a person with long term physical, mental,
intellectual or sensory impairments which, in interaction with barriers, hinders his full and
effective participation in society equally with others. Some persons with disabilities die up to
20 years earlier than those without disabilities. Persons with disabilities have twice the risk of
developing conditions such as depression, asthma, diabetes, stroke, obesity or poor oral
health. Persons with disabilities face many health inequities. Supporting these people to live
independently with technology and innovative products.
Scope of CSP:
i. Selecting a sample size of people in which survey needs to be conducted.
ii. Frame the questionnaire to identify what are the problems faced by the disability
people.
iii. Conclusions are prepared based on the data obtained from the questionnaire.
iv. Educate those people on innovative and latest products to overcome the respective
disability problems.
5. Orphans:
A child deprived by death of one or usually both parents is considered to be orphan. There
are two categories of orphans who themselves motivate to study and grow by taking help
from others and another category as there is no guidance for them, they mostly toward bad
habits from society and get involved in crime etc.
Scope of CSP:
i. Selecting orphans in the society to conduct survey.
ii. Preparing a questionnaire on whether they are studying or not, are they receiving any
help from others, what are their plans, etc.
iii. Creating awareness by explain about importance of education and providing solutions
from problems that they address if possible.
iv. Conclusions are prepared by the data obtained from questionnaire and by directly
talking to them.

6. Early Marriages & Women Empowerment:


Early marriage is a persistent problem especially in rural areas. Each year approximately 15
million girls are married before they turn 18, who lose their opportunity to play, go to school,
to dream about what their futures might hold for them. Over the last few decades,
particularly over last 5-10 years, there has been a grounds well of programs that have shown
success in preventing and mitigating child marriage by increasing awareness, enhancing
attitudes, changing practices. “Women Empowerment is the only way to eradicate child
marriages” was the outcome of all theories.
Scope of CSP:
i. Selecting a rural area in which survey needs to be conducted.
ii. Prepare questionnaire to understand their take on women empowerment & early
marriages.
iii. Identify people who support early marriages.
iv. Educating them on the benefits of women empowerment and the punishable sections
present in system if early marriages are supported.
v. Conclusions are prepared based on data obtained from questionnaire and by directly
interacting with villagers.
7. Swachh Barath:
India, being the most densely populated country in the world. Maintaining hygiene &
cleanliness has become the biggest task in our country. So, the PM of India Sri. Narendra
Modi has launched a campaign named “Swachh Bharat” with a vision of achieving “Clean
India”. It accelerates the efforts to achieve universal sanitation coverage and to put focus on
cleaning the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.
Scope of CSP:
i. Identifying whether Swachh Barath Abhiyan is being followed.
ii. Preparing questionnaire by checking out aims and mottos of Swachh Barath.
iii. Asking or collecting the prepared questionnaire from people
iv. Creating awareness by explaining about the benefits of Swachh Barath.
v. Preparing conclusions by collecting data from questionnaire and the way people
reacted when explained about benefits.

8. Importing Technology to the Farmers:


Agriculture in India is largely dependent on nature, but climate and global warming issues
make farming unpredictable. The need of the hour is to educate farmers in the use of modern
technology and innovative approaches to increase productivity and raise profitability. The
role of modern technology is significant in agricultural development and with the advent of
digital technology, the scope has widened. Innovation is leading to an evolution in
agricultural practices, reducing losses and increasing efficiency.
Scope of CSP:
i. Selecting a rural area in which survey needs to be conducted.
ii. Preparing a questionnaire considering whether there are aware of the new
technologies available.
iii. Identifying the people who are not aware of usage of technology ion agricultural.
iv. Educating villagers by explaining the advantages and comparing the profits obtained
before and after technology is used.
v. Conclusions are made considering the data obtained from questionnaire and by
directly taking to them.
