COURSE FOR EDUCATORS
How is this course delivered?

The course is fully asynchronous, and


thus, you can take the lessons at any time
depending in your availability.

The course contains short videos lessons


and resource links. Aside from this, the
course contains interactive modules based
on Stairway's award winning Break the
Silence Toolkits.
Objectives of the Course

At the end of the “Child Protection e-learning


course for Educators”, participants are expected
to;
1. Identify the various offline and online child
protection concerns that learners might
encounter.
2. Identify the various means these child
protection concerns might be perpetrated.
3. Identify the learning competencies in the
K12/MELCs in relation to Child Protection.
4. Distinguish what DepEd policy and protocol
should be applied for specific child protection
concerns.
Self-enrollment procedures

1. Login to your Stairway eLearning account, or if you


do not have one yet, create an account on this

2. After logging in or creating an account (making sure
you are logged in), come back to this course via
https://bit.ly/SFICourse4Teachers
3. Enter the enrollment key
DepEdCaviteChildProtection via the self-
enrollment section which can be found at the bottom
of the self-enrollement page.
4. You are now enrolled! The course will be available in
your dashboard

The course is FREE of charge in partnership
with SDO Cavite Province and Stairway
Foundation
As a NEAP Accredited Professional
Development Program, completers shall get
Professional Development Points, as well as
CPD points for teachers (c/o NEAP)

recommended, as some of the activities in the
course are easier to navigate using such
devices. If one uses mobile digital devices such
as phones or tablets, we cannot guarantee an
optimal user experience.
A working Internet connection of at least
5mbps is required, but the course has been
shown to work even in much slower
connections, but this will also depend on other
factors (such as the quality of the Internet
connection itself)
