The participant are gather through advertisement on news paper, they were told that It’s a experiment about
study and memory, there was a guy are tied on a electric chair, and the participant were ask to hit the button
if that guy make mistake during the memory test, there are also a guy who dress up like a expert and
recording the data. The participant were the only one who doesn't know about the true prepuces of the
experiment, and others were acting. They were test whatever they would push the button in different
situation
What is an agency theory and how do you evaluate it (strengths and weaknesses)?
Supported by experiment and data, so it’s scientific ,
Experiment included enough situation, so has good ecological validity
Can be use to explain real life events

Describe Asch (1951) experiment and compare it to Sherif (1935).

They re both experiment about conformity, investigation to see how people would conform in a group,
Asch’s experiment was asking the participant to mach which lines on the lift are same with line on the right.
There was only on true participant in one group, other people are actors. They answer a wrong answer to see
if the participant would going with them. And Sherifs’ experiment was asking about light dot in a dark
room, aking the participant if the dot was moving, this experiment does not have a answer
