Amendment - 1. : the act or process of amending especially for the better. 2. : a change in wording or
meaning especially in a law, bill, or motion.
Arbitration- the hearing and determining of a dispute or the settling of differences between parties by a
person or persons chosen or agreed to by them:
Conciliation- Conciliation is an alternative dispute resolution process whereby the parties to a dispute
use a conciliator, who meets with the parties both separately and together in an attempt to resolve their
differences.
Note- Cabinet ministers are the 20 or so most senior ministers in the Government who are chosen by
the Prime Minister to lead on specific policy areas such as Health, Transport, Foreign Affairs or Defense.
Note: Untouchability is a form of social institution that legitimises and enforces practices that are
discriminatory, humiliating, exclusionary and exploitative against people belonging to certain social
groups
Conscience- a person's moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as acting as a guide to one's behavior.
Note : An estate is everything comprising the net worth of an individual, including all land and real
estate, possessions, financial securities, cash, and other assets that the individual owns or has a
controlling interest in.
Note : provision- arrangement or preparation beforehand, as for the doing of something, the meeting of
needs, the supplying of means, etc. something provided; a measure or other means for meeting a need.
Note: the judiciary is the system of courts that interprets, defends, and applies the law in the name of
the state.
Impeachment- Impeachment is a process by which a legislative body or other legally constituted tribunal
initiates charges against a public official for misconduct. It may be understood as a unique process
involving both political and legal elements.
Prorogation: Prorogation is the period between the end of a parliamentary session of Parliament and
the beginning of a new session (which begins with the State Opening of Parliament)
Dissolution: Dissolution is the act of officially ending a formal agreement, for example a marriage or a
business arrangement.
