Greetings!
The Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes the significant role of the Boy Scouts of
the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines in introducing remarkable and
empowered boys and women leaders through the realization of the ideals of brotherhood
and sisterhood for the preparations of their responsibilities in the home, the nation, and the
world community. As such, Tabangao Integrated School recognizes the significant role of
BSP in helping public school system in molding learners into responsible citizens thus
creating a community of responsible scouts.
In this regard, we would like to ask permission from your good office to allow us to hold an
Investiture on April 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM and Camporee on April 13, 2024. The proposed
activities will be conducted at Tabangao Integrated School Social, Tabangao Integrated
School. Only registered Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be allowed to join voluntarily and
rest assured that safety protocols will be strictly followed. In addition, classes will not be
disrupted in the conduct of this activity.

1. This Office hereby permits the conduct of the Joint School-Based BSP-GSP
Encampment on April 12-13, 2024, at Tabangao Integrated School, Tabangao
Aplaya, Batangas City.
2. The School BSP-GSP Encampment /Camporee aims to:
a. provide a progressive, safe and enjoyable learning environment for the Scout in
order to enhance their physical, social, mental, emotional and spiritual potentials;
b. promote the highest quality of Scouting that is faithful to the mission, principles and
methods of Scouting.
c. develop their life skills through team building, cooperative learning, group
dynamics, creative problem solving and decision making skills.
3. The boy and girl scouts must be in a Type A, B and C uniform and should actively
participate in the activities.
4. The participants of this activity are the school administrators, barangay officials of
Tabangao Aplaya, Batangas City, Alumni Volunteers, and registered BSP and GSP
scouts of Tabangao Integrated School.
5. Enclosed in this memorandum are the working committee and Matrix of the activities
