Written Interview Questions


Written Exam 15 minutes- Any 4 Questions.
In the first question you are given a choice of 2 questions. You must write at least 8-10 lines
OR 80-100 Words for the first question. For the 2 nd and 3rd question you must write
minimum 4-5 lines OR 40-60 Words answers.

• Why are you applying for your chosen course?


I am interested in studying Health, Wellbeing, and Social Care with a Foundation
year. This course will provide me with the fundamental academic skills necessary to
succeed in the health and social care field. Additionally, it will equip me with the
ability to communicate effectively with patients and develop important interpersonal
skills. I believe that this course will help me acquire valuable skills for my future
career in healthcare or a hospital, as I am passionate about pursuing a career in this
field.

• Please tell us about your education and work experience background?


I have completed NCFE Level 3 Certificate in The Principles of End of Life Care in 2012
I am currently working as a Security Officer at Sector Security Services
Job role:
• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol,
strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control

• Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a
courteous and attentive manner

• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for
disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately
• Why do you think you are suitable for this course?

I believe I am suitable for this course due to my blend of academic background and
practical experience. My work as a Security Officer has honed my ability to ensure
safety and respond swiftly to diverse situations, aligning with the skills necessary for
the course. Additionally, my dedication to vigilance and creating secure
environments resonates with the values of the program, making me a fitting
candidate to contribute actively to its objectives.

• Why do you want to study with global banking school?


Global Banking School is one of the education providers in UK. They do have campus
in London, Birmingham, and Manchester. I would like to take the opportunity to
study in Global Banking School in Manchester Campus, because the premises are
near to where I live. The college staff are very professional and friendly. The course
also is very suitable to me which is not available everywhere. The environment of the
college is also so nice and there are a lot of facilities like big reception, canteen, Gym
and so on. I can come by foot, bus, train, and car easily. Some of my friends are
already studying here; they also have given me good feedback which has created
more interest to study in Global banking School.

• What are your future career plans?


My future career plans revolve around making a meaningful impact in the field of
Health, Wellbeing, and Social Care, with a specific focus on becoming a Support
Worker for Individuals with Disabilities. I am committed to leveraging my education
and practical experience to provide tailored assistance, promote independence, and
enhance the overall quality of life for individuals facing disabilities. Through
continuous learning and dedication to compassionate care, I aim to contribute to
creating inclusive and supportive environments that empower those with disabilities
to thrive and participate fully in their communities.
• Life in Manchester
Manchester is the second largest city in the UK. It is incredibly beautiful and
surrounded with people coming from different countries. A lot of good universities
and work opportunities are here. The beauty of Manchester is the football. You can
find two top teams here like Manchester united football team and Manchester city
football team. There is also a nice shopping centres where people come from all over
Europe to do shopping. There are many beautiful places and tourist attractions in
Manchester.

In a professional environment, it's crucial to embody a polished demeanour by

positive interactions with colleagues. Demonstrating reliability through punctuality
and meeting deadlines is essential. Upholding a positive attitude, collaborating
seamlessly with team members, and navigating challenges with professionalism
contribute to a constructive and harmonious work atmosphere..

• Good/bad practice of studying (strengths/weakness)


Do your homework on time, proofread your work, take notes in class, and listen
carefully to instructions. I go to class on time; read my notes and study in the library.
I am good at speaking but have some problems with writing. But I can improve
myself. Sometimes I find difficult some maths questions but if explain well I am good
at maths as well. Often, I read the newspaper when I am free to make my English
better and watch TV to develop my communication skills.
